This sterling example of welfare-state citizenry doesn’t seem to understand that the device requires a wireless AP or a cellular data plan to access the Internet. Wonder who’s going to pay for that?

Gee, let’s see: there are already Federal programs to give free broadband Internet and cellphones to the “poor,” so I guess YOU will be paying for it...

Back in 2006 when I was a supervisor at a Texas Workforce Center, I was giving away free laptops with software and one year of free Internet to our food stamp clients.
