I would give my left arm for a charasmatic leader who likes to fight - democrats, that is.
Thank you for posting this. As a matter of fact, I was just telling my son that I am changing my party affiliation today....you have made it easy for me. I am 57 years old and have been a registered republican since I was 18. I am DONE.
The Stupid Party was, however, 23 votes away from Pelosi becoming Speaker of the House.
What a Catch-23 situation to be in.
Will Bonehead realize that he better shape up? No, he won’t . . . ‘cuz he doesn’t have to. The only way to get him the hell out of the speakership would be to get him the hell out of Congress.
Amen, if they want to become anything like what the Reagan agenda offered I’m all ears and would be happy to come back
Until then, forget it... and it’s the last thing I wanted to do, have to count on 3rd parties but when the GOP no longer represents your interests you’ve got to be honest with yourself about it, eh
Great article. Not a dime to National or State Republican Party. Rather, targeted donations to Conservative politicians in specific states.
Shave their heads and chase them through the streets in their underwear!
Thx Makana, the sooner we get started in a new direction the better I guess, got a lot of work to do by 2014/2016
Registration changed after almost 40 years from repub to independent. I know I am not going to make a difference, but it makes me feel like I am, personally, sending a message.
I’m considering on doing the same thing. If I wanted someone who worshiped and kissed obama’s ass each day, I would become a Democrat.
Yep, IT IS time- ‘pragmatism’ along the Boehners and McConnells of the world plainly isn’t working
It’s time to be principled, yet also we need to get going in a new direction asap, if change is necessary let’s get on with doing what we need to do for 2014
And IT WILL make a difference IF enough quit as well... surely the donations will be missed, anyway
The funny thing is that all I have done is be sick over everything that is going on with the republican party; knowing full well that there is NOTHING I can do to change ANYTHING. But, changing my party affiliation is just, well let’s say, invigorating!! I actually feel good today! Haha!
Exactly, you can still vote GOP if they every pull their collective head out of their patootie and even re-join the Party ANY day, so why not
Well said!
Democrat Party = Communist Party.
Republican Party = Socialist Party.
A pox on both parties.
We need a Third Party for the conservative base.
Conserve America Party File.
Awesome Vichy reference. I'm stealing it.
Bump for revolution!
I like it! Especially since I'm from Brooklyn and I'm familiar with the Yiddish word for "schmuck". VERY apropos.
Letter-writing campaigns. Petitions. “Oh, we’ll threaten to fire them all in the mid-terms”.
My stepdaughters have a phrase: “Bitch, please!”
The time of the soap box, the mail box, and the ballot box, is over.
That leaves only one box left. While it’s still legal to buy it.
The Establishment Republican’s war agains Conservatives and the Tea Party began with the guy from Alaska. The Tea Party elected him in the primary over the Establishmenr’s darling. What did the Establishment do? They supported her and wrote her in for the general election. During the persidental primaries what did the Establishment do? They systemically destroyed each candidate that had a Conservative taint to them. It was the Republicans that knocked Herman Cain out of the race, not the Democrats. The State of Florida Establishment Republicans redrew Alan West into a district they knew he would lose. The Hillsborough County, Florida Establishment Republicans supported Rhonda Storms Democrat opponent over her. She lost.

Trying to eat some breakfast here!
The so-called TEA Party caucus could have denied Boner the Speakership; but they fell in line with the GOP-e, so I’m not too stoked with them either.
I plan to hold on to my hard-earned cash as I’ll need it for my attempt to unseat my RINO congress-critter in 2014.
Imho, it deserves a BIG, overwhelmingly obvious link all its own, so hope you don't mind my taking the liberty . . .
QUIT the GOP today .. Change your party affiliation to 'Independent' online right HERE
Right on brother, appreciate any help and thanks for the great line
He said, "I will fight you till hell freezes over and then we will fight on the ice."
They bought Congress with many things such as insider trading. Their souls became cheaper every year.

I’ll tell you why. In this state you remove yourself from the primary process. While the other party invites independents to be involved. In theory as an independent you could then participate in the primary election of democrats but not for Republicans.
Because if you change your registration you will not get a primary ballet for the R candidates. I registered as an independent about 20 years ago and realized I never received a primary ballet where the tea party has been able to purge the old guard. Its the primaries that have been easy to manipulate to stick it to the establishment. Just because I am registered R, doesn't mean I have to give them any money and every time they call I tell them that, "no money for you, my money is going to (fill in the blank) candidate as they more represent my interest than the R party."
Last night when the Gingrich organization called for support and money, I told them something I heard here, "why are you calling me for money, call the White House, they have all the money." The caller laughed.
A pox on both parties.

I do certainly agree, except when the numbers don’t add up.
IOW, when the democrats and Republicans individually outnumber the third party, you have an even more serious problem of being neutered, disengaged, reduced to being outside looking in, which gets you nothing but a pat on the back for your stance, and thinking folks are going to call you what you are, a traitor to the National Republican platform which is in agreement with most T-party patriots.
So the real problem is still RINO’s in the party of T and organized effort to take back the party equals taking back the country as well. It takes time, effort, money and what is more and more apparent, a serious collapse of something that will get the attention of the 70 percent of the American people that are at present clueless as to the status of the Republic.
I use this term often these days lol
“I do certainly agree, except when the numbers dont add up.”

Third party a hard row to hoe but what else can you do when the GOP doesn’t want conservatives around and is collaborating with a closet Bolshevik president?
That about nails it. Lucy holding the football one more time? Nah.
“Awesome Vichy reference. I’m stealing it.”
Aux barricades!!!
Levin said the GOP sold their soul to a President that would make Marx proud- I’m not willing to have a hand in it any longer
Ever since Boehner starting taking committe asignments away from actual conservatives I pretty much gave up on the Republican Party...
I’m older than you(70)and am also changing to independent. I have had enough of these dimwits in elephant suits.
I changed my affililation online, and also wrote an email to Andy Harris. I told him that after almost 40 years as a republican, I have switched to independent:
Message Subject: change of party affiliation after 40 years
Message Text:
i am sad to say that after 40 years of being affiliated with the republican party, i have changed my affiliation to independent. the entire party is a disappointment, and my principles are not represented or heard anymore. godspeed mr. harris; i do know that you, at least, tried.
Wasn’t Reagan the one who coined the 11th Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican?
As I recall, his point was that all Republicans had a right to differing opinions without being called traitors or leftists or whatever. He wanted to keep lines of communication open between all wings of the GOP
I think his idea was to unify a party and change it from minority status.
It’s not clear to me how you can fulminate the way you do against other Republicans and still arrogate to yourself the name of the Great Communicator.

How bout ‘Thou shalt not purge conservatives from committee assignments?
Reagan is turning over in his grave at 10,000 rpm for chrissake, I don’t have the position of power to bring GOPers together, JOHN BOEHNER does... and he’s done all he can to run the Reaganites out of town, open your eyes, man

I’m not a Republican, I’m a Reaganite- and say what I please when the Party’s been taken over by Obammunist collaborators.
Mark Levin said the same thing yesterday, why participate in our own demise? Obama should be offered POLITICAL SABOTAGE and tireless resistance, NOT tax-increasing deals!!!
Amen, patriot
