The low-rated Current TV is off Bright House Networks after the announcement that the channel was being sold to Al Jazeera.

“Our agreement with Current TV has been terminated and we will no longer be carrying the service,” Bright House spokesman Donald Forbes said Friday.

He added that the service ended Wednesday and that Bright House has not yet replaced Current TV on Channel 156.

One of the most humorous things is watching liberal explain how Al Jezerra is a reliable source, but Fox News is not real news. What twisted logic.

It does go back to what many have said..that the left considers conservatives in America a much bigger enemy than muslim terrorists.

I like this comment: “ I bet both of their viewers will be very sad.”

LOL

Algore was and is a bigger poser than the Griftin’ Clintons.

I do love how this further punctures his credibility. Another arrow in the debate quiver to fire at the Left.

Once again, Lord, we thank You for December, 2000!

And a bunch of other channels. OWN. WE. Lifetime. And some of the 40 or so ESPN channels. I’m even ready to dump A&E which used to he good, but now focuses on uneducated losers.

That’s why I said “some,” not “all.”

I have all the ESPN channels, plus assorted pro and college sports channels. I even have channels that show high school sports. There are times I can watch the same sporting event on 2 or 3 different channels. Way too much coverage, IMHO.

It’s really funny when some channels have no real sporting events, so they cover things like tiddly winks. Many of them cover poker games. Poker is a fine game, but it’s hardly a sport. Have you seen a poker player run, throw or bat? I haven’t.

What would have the largest impact is if Direct TV and the Dish Satellite Service could be persuaded to drop the channel.
If this happened, Al Jazeera would have spent hundreds of millions for a channel no one could see!

In the NYC metro area, one of the biggest sports channels is MSG (the Madison Square Garden network.) They have all the Knick and Ranger games, plus lots of college hoops, football and baseball from venues around the NYC area.

I was looking for sports the other day and they were airing a "Poetry Slam."

Competitive poeming, complete with a snapping crowd.
