He’s a good man who got in over his head. If you heard him interviewed and heard him debate that other idiot Biden, you realize that this guy is far from the scholar he was presented as. He’s a mental mediocrity, like the jerk who picked him as his running mate.
When you consider who the GOP picked as their Speaker and the choice of the Democrats as THEIR Speaker, you realize how much in trouble America is.
Years ago what the nut jobs in Washington did wasn’t all that important. America succeeded in the 1800’s IN SPITE of Washington, not because of it.
Today things are different. The nutjobs have far too much power and control over us, their knowledge of what we do and don’t do is far more readily available to them and the maniacal technocrats who control them.
I think the GOP IS the speaker. Boner (not going to try to spell it) is a power-crazed climber who chewed his way through Newt Gingrich’s a$$ to get where he is.
He is the most powerful Republican in the Federal Government, and he likes it that way.
The Tea Party was his biggest problem. His control over the GOP got the 2012 elections, which worked out just the way he wanted.
I don’t buy the author’s analysis of his passive role in this.
