Know someone who thinks they got the flu from the flu shot. It lasted for weeks and was kinda weird. Not a normal flu.

I’ve had the influenza exactly one time. Had to do inhalation therapy steroids. Was one sick puppy. Have gotten flu shot every year since then. Have a mild inflamation around the shot site occasionally, but not this year, couldn’t tell I’d even gotten a shot the next day.

On Dec 3 this year, I started coughing with a bronchial thing. Missed the next 4 days of work. Whole abdomen hurt from the wracking cough. Slept sitting up for a week. Was still coughing Dec 19 when I had a routine teeth cleaning. While sitting in the dentists office, I coughed. My dentist stuck his head around the corner and asked if the doctor had given me steroids for that cough. I sheepishly confessed I hadn’t been to the doctor. He said I needed to, every one of his patients that had it needed both antibiotics and either one or two courses of steroids to get rid of it. I went to the doctor the next day and she gave me ... antibiotics and steroids. Cough was pretty much gone three days later. She reamed me royally for waiting so long to come in.

Have you gone to the doctor? The bronchial thing I wrote about above has been reported by friends of mine from Maryland to Texas and here in Arizona, it’s all over the country. Had to have steroids to clear it up.

‘_______to build up the immune system.’

We are up in years. Never had the flu shot.
Don’t get the flu.
But believe we have a responsibility to maintain good health.
Starting with eating a variety of good food, easy on the junk.

Want to mention the supplement to boost the immune system that we treasure, and it’s called Myco Phyto, by Advanced Bionutritionals. Many brands - this is the one we can vouch for.

But we don’t pussyfoot around with one capsule at a time. When we feel something coming on, we pop 4 caps at least twice, 4 hours, or less, apart. Then 2 caps every 4 hours for the first day, and into the next. When caught in time, at the very first hint of distress, we have totally killed any sickness. Haven’t had a cold in some years.
Suit yourself with dosage, but a threatening illness needs to be smacked head on, therefore the 4 caps first.

For all sorts of infections, suggest Colloidal Silver by TriMedica. We have even gently sprayed the product in our eyes. Used on our children, now they use both these products with their children.
We are all sold!

We are concerned from time to time that nutritional products will be made harder to obtain, especially with this administration . . . but believe the GOP would also like our dependency on pharmaceuticals.

PS - We also take a variety of other supplements, for many reasons.

When you said “rib-breaking hacking”, I thought back to several flu’s I’ve had that went into bronchitis or pneumonia (I am so prone). I have broken several ribs that way, and it is traumatic.
My dear Lord, I do feel for her. I’m saying a prayer for her now.

All flu’s are nasty, when you get it. Every year the flu is an “epidemic”.

This is me right now. Add in nasty sinus pressure and constant post nasal drip, and that’s me. I was in bed Weds. & Thurs this week, Friday my DH took me to urgent care. They gave me the steroid shot, and something for the congestion and cough. I was in tears at night, dreading going to bed because I knew I wouldn’t sleep much with this wracking cough. Feeling human now, but still sick and coughing. Told me to come back if I didn’t feel significantly better in 2 or 3 days.

Guess I should have caviated that statement. You're right. It's only when a new strain appears. But usually that's the case though. We lucked out this year.

Prayers for you, Dear!

Do you have a recliner? Sleep leaned back in that, it’s the only way I could get any sleep at all.

Thanks, I’ve been piling up pillows, it seems to help. I’ve done all the freeping and reading I can muster, time to crash out for a bit. Good health to you!
