History may know you, and record your actions in a manner comparable to Natan Hale, or, if things go amazingly well over the next year or two, (an outcome to which you will have significantly contributed) your place in history will be much less pronounced.

Thank you for stepping up to the plate - again.

Excellent essay! My son is doing a research paper on gun control, and I sent him this, to give context.

One thing that we’re struggling with is the teacher’s insistence that he only use SIRS, eLibrary, and one other search engine. It supposedly makes it so much “easier” for students to use credible sources when the search is limited to what these engines want you to see. So when he looked up “Fast and Furious”, for instance, I think he got 2 articles that were even vaguely associated with Obama’s gun-running operation to Mexican drug cartels.

And the argument the teacher uses is that these are the search engines that colleges require their students to use. That explains a lot. It’s no wonder that colleges are altars to communism.

The teacher said that you just have to know the magic search terms to use, and then you can find articles on everything. We used the exact names of the court cases in some instances and there was nothing. He will challenge her to find out what the magic search terms are, to find specific information, and we can see whether she can get milk from a turnip. If she can’t, this is flat-out censorship on the part of colleges and high schools who censor their students from using other search engines and actually being able to find sources with the information they need.

My son found a site which is (I think) called justthefacts. It links to specific studies and/or official reports so he can click on the link and have the documentation just like that. He loves it. It will be interesting to see how many of those government reports and scientific studies appear in a search of SIRS, eLibrary, or the other search engine that he is supposed to be using. This project is going to end up as a research project far beyond what this teacher intended - because my son is interested in the truth, not only about guns and gun control, but about the censorship that has fueled the rise of communism in America.

...millions of Americans who also swore an oath to defend the Constitution will consider you their domestic enemy, and they will resist you with force of arms.

Assuming they "resist you with force of arms" pro-actively and openly with even generic hunting rifles at 200+ yard distances, law enforcement as we currently know it would evaporate by decimation or intimidation. "First responders" would no longer be responding: a call to 911 would yield nothing, you are on your own.

Existing and would-be criminals would run rampant resulting in chaos (flash mob lootings, rapes, murders) and eventually all-out anarchy, likely resulting in the loss of the most basic services such re-supplying supermarkets, gas stations, the power grid, water, etc.

Gun control would be the least of anyone's concern, including LEOs and FLEAs AWOL at home protecting their own, as basic survival would take precedence: food, shelter, protection.

Tens if not hundreds of thousands will perish before any assemblence of civilization is restored. Swell.

What Matt is describing here in vivid details can be read as the actualization of a “Society of Control,” a termed coined by William Burroughs to describe our immediate future.

http://www.nadir.org/nadir/archiv/netzkritik/societyofcontrol.html

Society becomes an open field composed of thresholds or gateways, it becomes a continuous space of passage. Power is tripped into action at key points along the way, at key thresholds. The exercise of power bears on your movement - not so much you as a person. You’re checked in passing. The process is largely automatic, and it doesn’t really matter what you think or who you are deep down. Machines do the detecting and ‘judging’. The check just bears on a little detail - do you have enough in your bank account, do you not have a gun? It’s a highly localised, partial exercise of power that feeds up to higher levels, bottom up.

In a way the real power starts after you’ve passed, in the feed, because you’ve left a trace. Something has registered. Those registrations can be gathered to piece together a profile of your movement, or they can be compared to other people’s inputs. They can be processed en masse and systematised, synthesised. Very convenient for surveillance or crime investigation, and marketing. The checkpoint system allows information to be gathered at every step you take.

Think of how cookies work on the internet. Every time you click a link, you’re registering your tastes and patterns, which are then processed and thrown back at you in the form of flip-up ads that try to get you to go to particular links and hopefully buy something. It’s a feedback loop, and the object is to modulate your online movement.

Now policing works more and more through gatekeeping - detection, registration and feedback. Police action, in the sense of an arrest, comes out of this movement-processing loop as a particular kind of feedback. Instead of passing through the gate, a gun is detected by the machine, and a police response is triggered, and someone gets arrested. Police power becomes a function of that other kind of power, that we were calling control, or movement-based power. It’s a local stop-action that arises out of the flow and is aimed at safeguarding it.

It becomes one big, self-propelling feedback machine. It turns into a kind of automatism, and we register collectively as individuals through the way we feed that automatism, by our participation in it, just by virtue of being alive and moving. Socially, that’s what the individual is now: a checkpoint trigger. Power is now distributed. It trickles down to the most local, most partial checkpoint. There is no distance anymore between us, our movements and the operations of power

The constant security concerns insinuate themselves into our lives at such a basic, habitual level that you’re barely aware how it’s changing the tenor of everyday living. You start ‘instinctively’ to limit your movements and contact with people.

I'm guessing there will be a lot of kitchen table discussions between LEOs/FLEAs and their spouses:
- stop harassing these people who never did anything wrong before,
- it's not worth not risking your life over,
- who's going to stay home and protect us with all these real criminals running around now, and no more 911?

Ohhh Rahh! Take heed LEO’s and FLEA’s.

Since Heidi Heitkamp (D-sen N Dak) has stated that the portending legislation is so draconian that it won’t pass we have to consider this. So much stuff will be included that it could lead the republicans to a compromise position on fewer (but grossly invasive) rules and regs. If the reps have any cojones left (if barney frank is holding them for everybody) they will refuse to sign on and if smart (oxymoronic I know) they will attach all sorts of things to the bill(s) that there is no way the dems could possibly sign on to them. We just have to wait and see how it plays out. Meantime, inundate your rep and sens so they get the message. Don’t think I’ll be hearing back from mr.reid.

Freedom requires that an individual has around himself a circle of privacy into which governments do not intrude. Sadly, people seem determined to give up that circle of privacy in return for supposed government benefits or security.

One issue is whether or not you are armed. We are seeing where gun registration can be used to violate that circle of privacy. Register legally and public pressure can be brought to bear, and down the road even confiscation. Fail to register and ipso facto you are a felon.

I see something similar in the registration of your financial assets. If all your assets are “registered” with the IRS or the various banking agencies, you are subject to pressure and manipulation; confiscation by means of lawsuits or simply legal pressure that bankrupts you. If you have bank accounts you don’t tell them about, you may find yourself a felon. We are seeing how the long arm of the law is making it difficult for American citizens to operate financially abroad to the point that overseas banks refuse to open accounts for Americans. Some have gone to the extreme of abandoning their US passports as the only means of getting around this legally.

Steps you might take to lower your financial profile and avoid triggering automatic surveillance of your finances can itself be considered a felony. So we are in the situation that any effort to keep your assets private can lead to those assets being stripped from you. Everyone must have permission from the beast to buy and sell, it seems.

You are 100% correct.Of course this inclusdes the last census in which GPS locations of every household were taken along with the name of the head of household, now a descrete data base KEPT by the White House itself ( the last census was removed from the Commerce Dept and placed under the White House directly.).

Also few understand why FEMA is equipped the way it is with large regional concerrtina wire secured camps and thousands of box cars designed to transport humans.

Also if you research some of the stimulus spending you will see that even the most remote of US Canada border crossings now can be closed and secured to keep American Citizens in , with huge girder beam steel gates, concrete bunkers,
and prison ground style illumination for small arms night sighting.

See here:

https://maps.google.ca/maps?q=Centerville+NB&hl=en&ll=46.450499,-67.784615&spn=0.006904,0.013711&hq=Centerville+NB&t=h&z=16

A new law prohibits the use of video or camera equipment at border crossings.Try to take any pictures and if you are caught border agents will confiscate your camera equipment.

Americans freedom of movement on the ground in and out of the country now can be halted with the signature of one presidential executive order, the hardware to lock America IN is now in place.

If a citizen becomes a threat to Obama, he can have a drone over that persons home in a matter of minutes, inputting the GPS data he has on every US household from the 2008 census, and with no one even knowing that the data base is being used in that way ( the real danger). (You have already seen how the left has used data bases and the internet to map out gun owners in New York State).

The government and the left are at war with America. Only a few realize this fact, because the war has been coming and tightening on America gradually.

What we really need are committees of safety organized in every county across the country:

One LEO’s reply.

I’ve been a policeman for nearly 30 years. I’ve been at FR for over 10 years. I was on our SWAT team for 15 years.

And I’ve been keeping tabs on the take over of our country for about 25 years.

Being in the trenches on the police dept. and with the battles of good cop/bad cop on FR I have done a lot of reflecting, planning and communicating.

I have reflected on my role as a police officer. Having a strong belief in an afterlife which includes eternal reward or punishment, I have endeavored to remain as faithful as I can to my belief in Jesus Christ. Not only did I take an oath (twice) to uphold the Constitution, I took another, more important oath to be a faithful son of the Catholic Church. Not a salad bar Christian, a REAL Christian.

The realization that we are now at the precipice has caused me to have a talk with my spouse regarding the possibility of armed conflict. I have lost sleep, shed a few tears and begun to prepare myself and my family.

I have come to the conclusion that critical choices lay ahead for all of us, not just law enforcement.

Is there any doubt, watching this last election, that we in America have come to a crossroads? Is there any doubt that we will all have to choose which side we are going to stand on? In my mind there is no doubt, it is time to choose because there is a communist in the White House and communists surround and advise him.

Recess is over.

I have observed and talked to officers on my dept. I’d say 1/3 of them believe in America as founded. 1/3 are all for Obama and 1/3 are indifferent.

I have had arguments with those on the other side. Heated arguments. There is no doubt in my mind they will side with him when the time comes.

BUT. And it’s a big but. Other than being anti-gun, they are not gun people. They will not be willing to die to take guns. Most of them are not tactically minded. Most of them are salad bar Christians. They are lock-step union democrats and only do this for a job and a pension. They are not carnivores.

The indifferent 1/3 are the ones that I wonder about. Some of them are tactically minded. Some of them don’t believe in your 2nd amendment rights. They think firearms are for sporting or hunting, nobody should have an AK, etc.

These are the ones I try to plant seeds with.

That leaves the other third. I wonder how many will break and join with the left. They will worry about family, their job, going to jail, all those things we all worry about. The desire to remain armed as a policeman will weigh with them. There is some security in being the praetorian guard. Until the war starts that is.

It’s like possessing the One Ring. Hard to give up.

Here is what I think. The left is in power. They are organized. We are not. We need leaders. We need someone, a former General, or Generals, military people, that we can unite and organize behind.

We need Aragorn. We need Gandalf. We need a Leader to stop the fears of the common man. We need to organize NOW.

What is the saying, We must all hang together or we shall surely all hang separately.

I will take heat for this but I believe it and I’ve heard the Obama administration talk about it. They want to organize with law enforcement heads, Chiefs, etc.

Beware of the IACP. The International Association of Chiefs of Police. I’ve read about many of these big city politician police chiefs. They are IACP members and they are anti gun. Barack Obama was once on the board of one of these agencies. Big union political police chiefs are in Obamas back pocket.

I lastly urge you on FR to do this. You must reach out to LEO’s to join you. Many of them agree with you. Many of them don’t want to take your guns. They are going to be used as pawns to do the dirty work of the elites. You have a chance to stop some of them from going over to the dark side.

We will win if we organize. We need to unmask the enemy.
