I haven't gotten my first paycheck of 2013 yet, but because I'm a person who pays some attention to the goings-on in our country, I'm well aware that it will be significantly lower than my last paycheck of 2012.
And it's not just the payroll tax thing. My health insurance premiums went up (thanks for nothing, Obamacare!), I've started a contribution to the United Way, and I've upped the amount I'm contributing to my flexible spending account. So yeah - I'm expecting a major plummet in my net take home pay.
But the jokers in this column? They were shocked - SHOCKED I SAY - that even though they voted for Obama, somehow their paychecks are lower. And they're not even part of the 1%!!!!
Some of the quotes were positively hysterical. BEHOLD:

Yes. That's what I'd like to know. Why the F*** did anyone vote for him?
Actually, I know why. Because they are MORONS. As is evidenced by the total ignorance in the quotes from the people above.
And even though I have to suffer the consequences of their stupidity right along with them, I can't help but get a little bit of gleeful satisfaction from reading these stunned revelations about their Messiah.

Not relevant to your main point, but I haven’t given a dime to United Way for decades, because they suck up money and give much of the rest to “charities” that I would never support.
Better to choose your individual charities carefully, according to what you think is most needful and beneficial.
I get paid tomorrow, but was able to see how much it’s going to be.
I’ll be taking home around $400 less tomorrow.

Me? I can take a small hit (I have been planning accordingly) — I’ll still vacation in Hawaii next month and the Caribbean next spring.

I get screwed for what they voted for too. The somebitches are dragging me down with them, so I am a little less sanguine about it. Every time I see an Obama bumper sticker, I cuss out loud at them. "Bastids!"

The people quoted aren’t even the morons. The REAL morons are those who haven’t even realised what they have done.
Also, these quotes are spelled correctly, and have mostly acceptable grammar. A REAL Obamunist would sprinkle “nigga” and “r u serus foo” and “ima kill some rich peeple”
The sad thing is that if we had a do over election tomorrow, with the same candidates, these self same morons would still pull the lever for 0boober. What’s worse, the same conservatives would still sit home in order to “teach the GOP a lesson”.

Going to Kona this time — it was easier when I was in Los Angeles. We have never been to the Big Island but we have always loved Kauai. I hear tell Hawaii is alike a large Kauai so we’ll see.
I am not happy about being dinged for a few hundred bucks, but the chances are most FReepers are OK (if pissed), whereas most DU/KOS folks will not be able to get gas for their 1990 Volvos.

Obama will make yet another false promise to “fix this problem”, & the morons will lap it up, prostrating themselves for ever doubting the One.
If you are waiting for this to end, it wont. People who are slavish to an open, prolific liar will remain loyal until the end. They will march like lemmings to their own miserable deaths, & many will deny the obvious even as they drown.
What angers me the most is that without the moral/responsible people (hosts) to financially support these morons (Leftist parasites), they would quickly become extinct.
Amen to that. A friend of mine became disabled suddenly- she was diagnosed with gastroparesis and could only hold down some fluids. At my recommendation, she called the United Way to try to get some assistance. She was getting most of her nutrition from Ensure and couldn’t afford it and couldn’t afford to heat her home during the winter.
UW offered diapers. Period. That was it.
I stopped my husband’s and my contributions immediately and will tell anyone this story that I can. (Hubby brought a winter’s worth of firewood for my friend and we bought her gift cards to purchase what she needed.)
I stopped and watched that a dozen times and laughed every time!
