Sirs, You have turned the National Cathedral into a national disgrace. I am glad that most people, now, do not associate the National Cathedral with Christianity, just as most Episcopalians are also anathema to the faith.
Someone at NC has said that "Gays are children of God." But what God? The Bible says that all humans are God's "offspring" via Adam, but that unless you are born again into the family of God, you are not a child of God as bought by His Only Begotten Son Jesus's shed blood.
Your mockery of the things of God will surely end similar to what has happenned through the centuries to those who misappropriate the Word of God. Please, reread the countless times that Jerusalem/Israel was sacked and destroyed because of idolatry. Please, read how the Eastern Roman Empire also was destroyed and replaced with Islam. There are countless other examples.
In Corinthians we read that fornicators will not inherit the Kingdom of God, but you insist that they will. You remind me of another scripture: "You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are." Mat 23. Too bad for them,and too bad for you.

US has been living in sin for awhile. Gay marriage in National Cathedral did not happen overnight. 9/11 is the US first “shaking” from God. Financial implosion in 2008 is second “shaking” from God. God does not like to be mocked. Our founding fathers proclaimed that our nation will be found under God’s principles. We proclaimed it like the Jews proclaimed it when they found Israel. Like the chosen people, Americans will be held to account. If we fail, God will warn us like the Jews of old were warned, thru disasters like the Biblical “shaking”. Each time God will use it to warn and urge us to repent, and every seven year the shaking will get worst and worst till the nation if need to be destroyed. The next one will occur in 2015. If God keeps to his MO as described in the Old Testament, the next one will be more terrible then 9/11 and financial implosion of 2008.
Americans will be held to account.
If America fails it will be the Christians who will be held to account. How sad that Christians don’t heed 2 Chronicles 7:14. God promises to forgive us and heal our land if Christians would humble themselves, pray, and seek His face.
I have no problem with Homosexuals being Children of God, as indeed they are, but when a Church starts ignoring the sins of these children and even attempts to destroy a Sacrament for them, that Church is no longer a part of God’s realm.
Judgement BEGINS at the pulpit.
Wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.
