In Georgia, a woman was home with her nine-year-old twins. She was forced to take the children into an attic crawl space with her husband on the phone with her. He had just taught her how to operate the 38-caliber weapon. She shot the man 5 times, and came out of the crawl space screaming at him. The invader fled the scene, but is in-hospital in ICU, shot in the face among other wounds. The invader is identified as Paul Ali Slater.

Most people would understand what this monster was going to do. He was going to rape her and then rob the place for everything he could take. She intended otherwise.

My only comment in this is that the revolver she should have had was at least a 38 that could shoot +P loads. A 357 Magnum revolver would be better because it could shoot 38 Specials, 38 Special +P and 357 magnums.

Had these been in the weapon, he wouldn't be wasting a hospital bed, breathing oxygen, or IV fluids, etc. A mortician would be embalming him.
