Chris Matthews opened Hardball with video from the past two days of Jim Yeager, Alex Jones and Rush Limbaugh defending the second amendment. David Corn says Rush is "inviting John Wilkes Booth..." Matthews says Rush should know better. Matthews also introduced the segment (usually rebroadcast at 7:00 PM EST) by saying he was "going to nut country" and said that was a quote from JFK just before he went to Dallas for the last time.
Right before Hardball, Martin Bashir said that the report that the armed officer assigned to the school that were the latest shooting occurred wasn't there because he was snowed-in "proves" that armed officers at schools are not the solution.
Matthews announced at the end of the segment that it is being reported that Jim Yeager has had his TN conceal carry permit yanked.
According to Bashir the cop not being there proves it wouldn’t have made a difference if the cop WAS there . Just one more thing that proves liberals and their voters are stupid.
If anyone is inviting it, I’d say it’s Obama.

Sorry Cornball, if anyone is inviting a John Wilkes Booth, it’s Obama himself. Booth saw Lincoln as a tyrant, another Julius Caesar who had declared himself dictator for life. And like Brutus and the rest of Caesar’s assassins, Booth believed that by killing Lincoln, he would be ridding the country of an overzealous dictator. If Obama continues to abuse his executive powers, violate the Constitution, and take away the rights of American citizens, he’s putting a target on his own back.
Does that mean, “Death of a President” that mimicked the death of GWB, was merely “performance art?”

Also on Martin Bashir’s program right before Hardball one panelist declared authoritatively that the founder’s couldn’t possibly have intended the 2A as a defense against the imposition of tyranny because the whole intent of the constitution was obviously to support the new government using lawful means laid out in the document.
Probably not news to seasoned 2A activists, another panelist said that the strict CA open carry while loaded act, the Mulford Act, was signed by Reagan in response to armed militia activities by the Black Panthers which this female black panelist said was supported by NRA.

We still value freedom and the rule of law in this country, and Obama's disgusting and evil actions are far more provocative than any mere words from an entertainer.
Little Davy Corn and Chrissy Matthews really need to lighten up. Barry has no plans to become their saint and martyr. The white boys are going to have to find somebody else for that kind of liberal crap. Geeesh.

If an attempt is made for a direct frontal assault at Bronco Bama, it will be a highly doctrinaire young True Believer who does not think that the process has moved fast enough or far enough. Making a martyr is a very bad political move if you disagree with the aims and opinions of a particular public figure. But on the other hand, making a martyr out of someone who was sort of the same persuasion, does a great deal to insure that whatever the direction of cultural change was already going forth, greatly accelerates that rate of change.
The Great Society of LBJ could never have proceeded if JFK had NOT been shot, and rendered a huge sympathy vote for a very unlikeable person who put into place a burdensome range of social program that has sent ripples through society even today.
I always suspected that LBJ had a more than casual hand in the demise of both John and Robert Kennedy, and probably Martin Luther King as well.
Look for a “Reichstag moment”.

Mr. Limbaugh makes north of $200,000,000 a year. I think he can afford bodyguards and security protection at home and his office. It’s you and me that I’m worried about. Socialism killed hundreds of millions in the 20th Century and they’re not finished. That’s why we cannot allow them to enact any more gun laws and must repeal all the unconstitutional rules they have made since the constitutional convention.

Having a cop or an armed guard at all schools would be, quite frankly, a massive waste of money. Just like those silly procedures where all the doors are locked so no one can get in are a total waste of time.
