Even more amazing that so many of our youth still support this guy even after what he has and will put them through.

A majority of the youth of my generation only took four years to learn their lesson on Jimmy Carter.

A majority of the youth of my generation only took four years to learn their lesson on Jimmy Carter.

I was a young skull full of mush during Jimmy Carter's presidency, but by the time his term was done, I was thoroughly disillusioned by politics. I didn't even vote in 1980, though I was 27 by that time.

Over the next four years, Ronald Reagan taught me that there was nothing whatsoever to fear from conservative Republicans, and in fact, their way produced the sort of results that were good for the country.

Still took me a while to escape the plantation, but eventually I did, and never looked back.

I am 68 and soon to be 69, Carter was elected when I was 32 and voted out when I was 36. The average American voter was one hell of a lot smarter then than now. Also the news media was still reporting a lot more of what was happening, there is not even an effort to pretend to be real journalists now.

Which is why a majority of your generation voted for Obama. Thank you, again for ‘learning’ your lesson with Carter.
