I teach high school students. I wouldn’t dare bring this subject up around them, but I’ve been teaching children this age long enough to know the kind of fear and disgust it would bring to practically all of them, the incident in Boston notwithstanding. The feelings of disgust appear to be natural, too, and for good reason, since it is appalingly obvious that an older person having sexual relations with the very young are doing so for their own physical release apart from the child involved. Even Islamic culture’s disturbing acceptance of child marriage seems to have rules about what happens, as opposed to this kind of orgiastic free-for-all.
We were all focused on Orwell’s dystopia when Aldous Huxley seems to be the more prescient one. God help us.

That is the point.
They are moving what is considered “normal” and they are doing it on purpose.
