Before you get swamped - "bullets" are reloading components, which are certainly available online. "Cartridges" are entire ammunition components consisting of casing, powder, primer, and bullet. Those are getting a little hard to get online due to sheer demand but are available if you're willing to wait.

One of my favorite sites is ammoman.com, who are reporting 4-5 days behind on orders. Ammunitiontogo.com is reporting 22-25 day delay. Freedommunitions.com is reporting a "temporary pause" while they catch up (you can't even order). I used to deal with Cheaper Than Dirt but lately I'm not so sure about those guys.

Best of luck!

Bullets? Or cartridges? (There is a difference.)

What caliber?

Try Midway USA, Cheaper Than Dirt, and Sportmans Guide.

Good luck. Many of the popular cartridges/calibers are sold out ("on back order").

If all else fails, visit hardware stores, in small towns near you (if there are any). People sometimes overlook those.

You’re too late.

No bullets. No primers and no brass.

Good luck. You won’t get any new ammo for at least three months.

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/
http://www.midwayusa.com/
http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/

Good luck finding anything that isn’t 2-3x its last summer/fall’s price!

.22 short is all that will be allowed soon. Good thing there was a big stack at Wal-Mart. I stocked up.

There are many good places to buy cartridges, probably the same for bullets. Here are a few off the top of my head for cartridges:

http://sportsmanssupplyco.com/Ammunition.htm

Freedomammunition.com

Cabelas.com (yea, they really aren’t badly priced)

gunbroker.com (just keep bidding)

gunauction.com (ditto on bidding)

Use this link:
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_5_20/97959_Handgun_Ammo_Price_Lists___check_here_for_the_best_prices_on_mail_order_ammo_.html

It’s an auto-updating page that lists ammo by price and caliber.

Cabelas. I like to keep all of my ordinance the same caliber - pistols & rifles, all .22.

I don’t really want to kill anyone, but with the “Spray-and-Pray” potential of .22, the ability is there if needed...

Someone told me that you have to pay an extra shipping charge for “Dangerous Cargo”, but I never had a problem with .22. The shipping was reasonable through Cabelas.

They are too scarce and expensive....

If you mean cartridges, as in, ammunition, then nowhere. If you are really talking “bullets” then you just have to hunt for some places, obviously certain calibers are harder find than others.

Atlantic Firearms is reasonably priced (or was). A lot of ammo is back order only though. Depends on your needs.

Great list. You can add www.kygunco.com to it, but as others have said, everything is selling out quickly.
