Thanks to WNDs Chelsea Schillings on-top-of-it reporting, I am now wondering what the deal is. The news exploded across the Internet this past weekend that Walmart was no longer going to be selling ammunition, because of the potential for lawless executive orders from the criminal fraud in the White House which will target our God-given rights as declared by the Second Amendment.
It caused massive outrage. The last thing American patriots want to see is more of the sickening caving and bowing by American businesses to Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) and his hideously wrong dictates. But, it seems the publics outrage may be premature, or it could be that the outrage outweighed Walmarts fear of Comrade Obama.
Either way, according to Chelsea Schillings report, a Walmart spokesman denied the charge:
the retail giant tells WND the reports arent true.
That information is inaccurate, said Ashley Hardie, a spokeswoman located at Walmarts corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Ark.
WND then asked whether the retail chain is cutting back on orders of ammunition.
No, Hardie said. Were continuing to serve our customers as we have in the past.
She said Walmarts ammunition sales policy has not changed, even amid talk of gun-control legislation in Washington, D.C.
The uproar began when the InvestmentWatch blog posted a story headlined, Breaking & confirmed: Walmart is not going to order any more ammo.
CNS News cited the report, and talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh mentioned it during his Monday show. CNS has since removed the report from its own site.
While this sounds good, it is just one brief statement from a Walmart representative in the face of a number of man-on-the-street reports to the contrary. We certainly hope Walmart is not considering a preemptive cave to Obamas lawless dictates.
Yes, Obama is lawless, and his phony claim that he wants legislation (even if its his own diktat) to crack down on gun violence is a smokescreen for his true intention: to disarm law-abiding American gun owners. Anything he tries is unconstitutional. As Publius Huldah writes in her latest column, Gun Control, the Dick Act of 1902, Bills of Attainder & Ex Post Facto Laws:
the 2nd Amendment to our federal Constitution recognizes that this God-given right to keep and bear arms is to be free from any interference WHATSOEVER from the federal government.
Furthermore, the federal government is nowhere in the Constitution granted authority to restrict, in any fashion whatsoever, guns, ammunition, etc. Thus, ALL laws made by Congress, ALL regulations made by the [Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives], are unconstitutional as outside the scope of the powers granted to Congress and to the Executive Branch by our Constitution. Regulation of arms and ammunition is NOT one of the enumerated powers delegated to Congress or the Executive Branch.
If Obama truly wanted to reduce gun violence, then he would support and encourage state and local efforts to squash the criminals who are committing the gun violence. Law-abiding Americans are not the ones out raining murderous evil down on their fellow Americansthat would be the criminals, whether they are lawless gang members or otherwise deranged lunatics.
The fact is that we already have laws against murder and assault, and more laws that target guns will not stop criminals from either possessing or misusing guns to commit crimes. Everyone with even a modicum of rational thought knows this. Every sentient American also knows that the goal of the communist Left is to disarm law-abiding American citizens, and it is a scary day in which we currently find ourselves, with our post-communist-coup federal government poised to realize its utopian dreams of a disarmed and subjugated American populace.
Of course, well just see about that, now wont we? I can already hear readers saying, Just let them try it.
Lying Libtard attempt to cost a successful “GREEDY CORPORATION” some business?
FREEPERS who need to apologize to Walmart for libel and distortion, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Someone upstairs needs to have a little talk with you....lol.
I can understand an ammo shortage, because of the crook in the White House and the commies in Congress and the administration. Everyone’s buying it up as fast as they can. Of course, the government already put a dent in the supply of hollow point .45s.
A friend of mine said he was told at Academy yesterday that there was a limit of two boxes per customer.
I’m heading to Walmart this weekend to pick up a long gun, either .243, .308, or .30-06
i picked up 4 555 round boxes of .22 lr yesterday and 2 .223 20 round boxes which i have not seen either on their shelves for about a month..i wonder if the internet rumor made them cough it up they said they got it that morning....
Yep. It’s crazy out there!
Local policies to address a shortage are a vastly different thing than corporate policies suspending ammo sales.
Watch what is on their shelves, not what their spokespeople are saying.
Obama no doubt would like them to get out of the gun business. And he is capable of unleashing Environmental Enforcement/Union Organizing Hell on them if they don’t play ball with him.
You’re right. There is NOTHING these creeps aren’t capable of doing to American businesses and the American people.
Yes, I was going from my lame memory. They certainly snapped up millions.
But you’re right, though; read down thru the article and look at the list of all the calibers & quantities they bought! I had no idea it was than varied until after I’d posted. .45s are in there, too. Yikes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this admin would put false information out in an attempt to blackmail Wally. Trust only what you see. If ammo is available and Wally has nothing you have your answer.
I would think that would easily be the case. Sales of ammo are big business right now. Why would they not want the profit?
The Government buying up billions of rounds recently has probably caused a shortage too.
Maybe they wanted to create a run on ammo, then crashing demand after everyone is done, so as to put the manufacturers out of business
I went to Wal-Mart to see if they received any ammo since a week ago. No luck. Shelves almost bare. They had a stack of 38 special priced at $36 for 50. The same expensive ammo was also there a week before. Price tags for other 38 special were showing $16 to $20. Being curious, I looked closely to see why they were so expensive compared to the other price tags (without available ammo). I noticed the $36 price tag was for 125 grain. The available ammo above that price tag was 130 grain. The 130 grain ammo was stacked over the WRONG tag, which is why it was still there.
I bought all six boxes.
