The Republicans in Congress look like they are about to sell us out on the question of protecting the Second Amendment. The way they took a dive on the fiscal cliff gives us an idea of what they will probably do when confronted with Barack Obamas fearsome attacks on gun ownership. They wont listen to us. They will jump as high as the media and Obama tells them to and count themselves lucky if they arent singled out as a Hillbilly and an ogre for opposing common sense gun control.
According to a newly released report, based on the results of a major sampling of conservativesthe kind of people who vote in Republican primariesif this scenario plays out many Republicans might be...

Recall those that do!
Those losers can’t wait to sell us out.
Time for the GOP to disappear - perhaps this is the tipping point for this party?
Right now, I simply have changed my registration to independent and no longer support the RINO-ublicans.
They blow this one and I’ll actively campaign against each and every one.
Best get all dim-bulb-crats in office so as to hasten the upcoming CW-II and we’ll sort things out after the war is won with all those “illegal” weapons, and the guillotine session is over.
The men assembled in a small room in Philadelphia on a warm afternoon and started writing the Bill of Rights. Ben Franklin wondered off toward the window, opened it and lit his pipe. John Adams was at the table and said that he wanted the right to a free press, in order to keep the government honest. Thomas Jefferson grabbed a quill, dipped it in the ink bottle and started to write.
Washington asked for the right to assemble.
Hamilton wanted to allow everyone to worship in the way that they thought was right.
Paine wanted to petition the government for redress.
Franklin started laughing quietly but was overheard by his friends.
John Hancock climbed out of his chair at the table and called to Ben and asked him to come and join them, to help write this document-—and what is so funny?
Franklin blew smoke out of the window, turned toward his friends and said Do you know whats gonna happen when King George sees this document that were writing?
Thomas Jefferson nodded silently, dipped the quill back into the ink bottle and started writing: Second Amendment, right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
Yeah, or what? Vote Democrat? The Republican Party is a giant sloth trapped in a tar pit.
If they do, I will become a “suicide voter” and vote Democrat every chance I get. Not third party, but Democrat. This issue is my line in the sand. Take heed, GOP. You’ve been able to count me among your ranks for almost a quarter century, but it is over if you throw this fight.
Loud and clear, we conservatives, the base, the practicing Christians, have been told to not let the door hit us in the netheregion, but we can’t gather our little band and go.
But, food for thought, thinking here that the GOPE can either join us or continue to lose election after election. Clones of socialist democrats is not a winning contrast, after all, as socialist Romney just demonstrated.
The Establishment are obviously in the squirming stage right now, feeling the heat. THAT is an encouraging sign.
What a boatload of BS!! By the election next year, we will be debating whether or not to vote for the only 'Pubbie in the race (because there are no challengers) or voting for the lefty. Retaining control of the House, or bowing to the obvious and caving to Obama the Maniacal's demands.
The fact is that next year we will do what we always do - line up at the voting booth, bend over and take it as we re-elect the same losers that we have been re-electing for years. The politicians know it and are not going to lose any sleep worrying that we are pi$$ed. We've been pi$$ed for a few years, now, and the same losers keep getting re-elected.
The mid-term next year will be no different!
How come there are no Americans with guts to form a third party, something like the Conservative Party of the United States of America (symbol - Turtle). I will join as soon as I get knighted (i.e., get Citizenship). The democratic party will kill us all.
Don’t worry. Jonah Goldberg and NRO assures us that the ‘Pubbies are “ideologically sound” just not very effective.
some of you are just suicidal....
"our" side is weak, growing smaller, and the best some of you can come up with is "lets get weaker and smaller".....
not that I disagree with trying to get the pub party to stand up for us, but I just have to laugh at all the hate directed at the pubs when the rats control everything and not nearly the hate is spewed at them and what they have done...
They, the GOP, are already sorry, and I sincerely doubt there is one left in Washington with the stuff to fight for our country let alone desire.
The GOP will sell conservatives out on Illegal Alien Amnesty first...then on gun control
There’s a few ready and waiting (Constitution and/or Libertarian), but some here have labeled them fringe, kook or worse.
They are the ones who bend over every election to ‘work within’ while the Weeper of House and McConnell sell their serfs out every chance they get.
I’m thinking of switching to (I) party. But wouldn’t be able to vote in primaries. Then again, my vote doesn’t count anyway. I voted for Newt.
I’m also ready for a 3rd party. Constitution party sounds good.
I’m 4.5 oz away from sending lead down range.
NRA is taking a hard stance so far. We need to keep their feet on the right path.
