Enough already with the spirit of defeat by our friends here. Show some backbone and stop bashing Republicans. We lost the election due to rigid concepts over religion so Romney s faith kept voters home. We should have won easy. A house divided cannot stand.
Please stop bashing our allies and let the Obama chickens come home to roost. Obama will pay for his blindness. Let us stop hating our own.
I am not sure about that. When he is of no further use to his present masters, they will give him no consideration.

4 million people either died, or quit voting Republican. They were not replaced.
The general concensus is that they were probably to the left of the party. We know that no survey of any kind has revealed the slightest element of religious belief that would account for both McCain and Romney losing those voters so it has to be political ~ and divergent from George W. Bush's positions.
The Democrats have us on the edge of a total disaster and we’re still fighting the conservative vs establishment war. Gees. We have no choice now but to unite and fight. This country’s existence is at stake.

I don’t see the Republicans maintaining the House. As far as the American people are concerned the Republicans control everything but the White House and until the democrats are in control Obama will not be able to save this nation from the “evil” republicans. That’s all they hear on television, in Obama speeches and there is just no elected official articulate enough to go against the left’s PR machine. The closest we have is Paul Ryan and Rand Paul.

wrong. conservatives will never unite behind a conventional republican. conservatives will unite around truth and Godly, courageous, leaders who speak the truth and act on the truth, and who will not pander to the mobs of either party.
Romney pissed-off too many Conservatives with his flood of negative attacks during the primaries.
With the nomination, he won the poisoned chalice of his own creation.
That means this was actually a very tight election, and bodes well for future Republican victories.
One more time, Obama is stupid. He has handlers ~ they are not stupid but they are EVIL!
If Romney had won, all else being equal, do you think he would have disassembled Obamacare? Even though Medicare and Medicaid are half dead already, it would be mindless to try and bring them back to life. But the Republicans are too spineless to kill them and the other massive parasites of taxpayer money.
Does anyone think a Romney win would make Boehner grow a spine? My guess is that the Republicans would have muddled along for two years, only to get slaughtered in the mid-terms, which would give Romney a Democrat congress that would only undermine him.
Some have pointed to a saving grace that Romney might appoint conservative justices to the SCOTUS. As governor, he had many conservative judges he could have appointed, and didn’t, preferring liberals.
Let’s face it, conservatives lost the election in the Republican primaries. Especially by electing two people who just could not control their impulses to blurt out incredibly stupid things. Having a tongue like that will get a person fired from a minimum wage job. Why couldn’t they have the common sense that, if you can’t say something that doesn’t make you sound like a jackass, then don’t say anything at all?
I understand where you're coming from but I do not agree. Race had less to do with it than that, otherwise Alan West would still be a Congressman.
Obama has managed to get the majority of the nation either on public assistance or working for the government.

I can’t help but suspect that some of the negative hostile rhetoric comes from plants. I’ve been on Free Republic for years and never heard the kind of destructive talk that I heard this year. The Free Republic I know raises unbelievable amounts of cash for candidates, is quoted on Rush’s show because they work to expose the left, and pulls together to defeat evil.
I also think those negative influences drove off a lot of Freepers. It was very hard to take during the primaries and even at times during the election.
Don’t get me wrong, I say blast Chris Christie or anyone else who’s against us. Just don’t blast them all or we’ll be left standing alone.

No person in America would vote against Okrah, against Whippie Goldberg, against Samuel Jackson, or against Obamao. Racism, you know. Obumster personal approval ratings, never mind job aproval, stood recently at 79%, though recently fell to 59%, no one knows why. 79% for the most unsympathetic character in America’s public life, an arrogant, unlikable man, 79%!
See my #34. The low turnout (51%?) had to do with race and voters not wanting to vote AGAINST, in my opinion.
I predict that the Gop will not learn from this last election and that they will find “YAR”* to run.

We have become a nation that rewards evil and hates the good. Obama will continue to live the high life as long as he’s on this earth.
I feel we lost by a combo of single issue voters who refused to look at the whole picture; union efforts; voter fraud; the work of the MSM; low information O worshipers, and lack of unity amongst republicans.
So lets keep bickering instead of standing up and working together!! I’m older than most of you, so I won’t be around to see it when things really go bad-—— and they are going to——— so why not grab the boot straps and do something TOGETHER and hope it is not too late.
