Well Joe the point the NRA is making, and it is the obvious message to be taken from Newtown is that no one’s child is safe in a school that does not permit weapon in the school be they carried by a uniformed policeman or by the regular staff.
Only a fool blinded by his ideology could fail to see the sense of schools having armed persons onsite to protect the defenseless children.
Sidwell Friends school (where the Obama girls attend) have 11 armed guards whether or not the girls are there. The Secret Service personnl are over and above those eleven. I doubt that many other private schools of that size have that many (if any) such personnel. Do your kids have eleven armed men keeping the bad guys away?
