Russia's Vladimir Putin says West is fomenting jihadi 'blowback'

Moscow

Both Vladimir Putin and his foreign minister have lashed out at the West in recent days for pursuing what they regard as naive and incoherent Middle East policies. The critique targets Western backing of anti-dictator rebellions in Libya and Syria, which, as Mr. Putin tells it, only fuels the spreading flames of extreme Islamist insurrection, including the current war in Mali and last week's terrorist strike on a gas complex in Algeria.

"The Syrian conflict has been raging for almost two years now. Upheaval in Libya, accompanied by the uncontrolled spread of weapons, contributed to the deterioration of the situation in Mali," Mr. Putin said at a meeting with new ambassadors in the Kremlin Thursday.

>>Putin is dead on.

But still he supports Iran. What’s with that?<<

I’m not yet sure if Russian romance with Iran isn’t a choking “love” hug a bear gives to it’s prey.

I can see little to none real fruits Iran got from Russians during their cooperation.

If not for Russian “help” they could have their bomb long time ago.

What kind of gun do all of these Jihadi’s have? Ak-47, oh I see. Where did they get all of these? Katyusha rockets? That word Katyusha, It sounds like an Eastern European word.

Putin is a creep. Nothing he says is true considering how affective he’s been at arming our enemies. He’s responsible for the deaths of many Americans and Israelis.

Like I said, they’re made into dhimmis. Second class citizens.

As with other regimes that impose second class citizen status, such as apartheid and the Jim Crow south, those who refuse to accept this status are likely to get themselves killed.

Those statements are correct but color me cynical for questioning the source’s motivation.

It is all Chinese made. And mostly bought from Chicoms with American tax money.

There is less than 20% of the non-Muslim population remaining that was in Iran before the revolution.

Funny, I’m going to buy mine with tax payer money too. My tax refund is a great example of wealth redistribution since I was unemployed half the year, but got a higher tax return than I ever got.

True, but they have mostly left, not been killed. The same has basically happened in all other ME countries. Non-Muslim minorities are leaving, and for the first time in history the ME is becoming religiously monoglot. Except of course for the internal divisions in Islam.

Islam teaches that Christians and Jews should be subjected to rule by Muslims, but not forced to convert. They are reduced to dhimmihood, but not killed.

Sometimes.

Vlad is right you see.

When America damned itself, with it’s anti-Colonialist President, it did so, welcoming a variety of plagues.

Obama see’s the use of foreign oil as theft of global resources.
Throwing the mideast into chaos, ensures there is nobody to do business with, while having the added benefit of scuttling the operation of the oil business there.

If he is also successful in shutting down domestic energy production, he will be well on his way to ultimate goal of destroying America.

Does anybody believe his policies are born of ignorance rather than malice?

The ME had a 'nation' ~ it was called the Ottoman Empire. It's political structure began to unravel the day King Filipe I/II of Spain had lost his last North Atlantic fleet to storms.

He resolved to preserve his honor so he founded The Catholic League, and built, borrowed and bought a Mediterranean fleet which attacked the Ottoman navy at Lepanto on october 7, 1571. He had a resounding victory and initiated a program of liberation in the Eastern Mediterranean that continues to this day.

Without Filipe it is difficult to imagine what we would face in that region.

The problem for the Arabs is that they were nothing more than folks living on a tax farm or the last 1000 year. Tribalism was what they were allowed ~ any higher aspirations would find a local noble eviscerated and hanging from a pole.

Obama’s policies are to have a good party at least once a month. He is a very stupid man ~ which doesn’t mean his handlers are stupid ~ but they are vicious and evil.

You are blind.

All of his policies are meeting his objectives.
His books, his votes, his speeches, all make his goals clear.

To pawn this off as the result of “handlers”, in naive and dangerous, as it blinds you to the risk.

When he claims noble motives, he is simply lying.
He is well aware that his policies will not solve our employment and economic problems, and will only make them worse.
But he pretends in public, that this is out of “fairness”, just as all communists before him.

The potential for common ground with the Russians in confronting jihad is ignored while the regime in Washington sabotages the national interest of America. Even the Russians can see it. Dark times.

The banksters behind all of this make their fortunes from financing war but I have to say, it sure sounds delusional.

True delusion is to believe a rational world view. That’s not how societies behave.

What is wrong with these people?

When they get to Washington they become intoxicated with the exercise of power and think they can move the world. Just a noxious display of the megalomania which characterizes the Ruling Class.

A thousand years of history says the only way to make hay with the Arab world is to first beat them into submission then buy them off. But our latter-day einsteins all think that because they went to Harvard they can outfox the middlemen of the Casbah.

The Turks, who ruled the Arabs for a thousand years said the way to deal with them is to crush them into the earth and then tax them blind.

They sure never paid them off! Arabia was a Turkish tax farm.

Lar, I said he was stupid ~ not that he was ignorant. He's probably ignorant about a lot of things too, but you could educate this guy forever and he'd still be stupid.

He is unable to stick ideas together, or to come to conclusions other than those he's spoonfed.

Look at his appointees ~ it's a veritable zoo ~ virtually all of them were not capable of holding down regular jobs to say anything of managing government agencies. They too are so stupid they didn't even realize that we could find out what they were doing.
