Well it was not a 10-22. It was a winchester Mod 77 in .22 There was a Winchester 94 made in 1949 in .30-30 The Arisaka had all matching numbers and an intact chrysanthemum and the soldiers name painted on the original leather sling. There was a GEW 98 made in 1917 with all matching numbers in excellent condition. The prize (other than the ‘94) was a Colt Police Positive(detective special) made in 1926 in .38S&W. It was carried by a “Railroad Dick” during the thirtys. I saved six weapons and spent US$275 for all.
