The Costly Bronze Policy: Unaffordable Healthcare Will Drive More Families Into Apartments
Confounded Interest ^ | 01/31/2013 | Anthony B. Sanders

I was asked at the Realtors Leadership conference in Washington DC this week about the coming trend for homeownership. My response? Bleak. In fact, I said the homeownership rate could fall back to late 1980s, early 1990s levels of 64% .. or even lower.

Why?

No one (other than me) wanted to discuss the tax and insurance premium consequences of the (Un)affordable Health Care (aka, Obamacare). We all know the tax consequences of Obamacare, but few realized how insurance premiums will skyrocket.

Here is a report from Treasury on the premium surge in Obamacare.

The “cheapest” plan for a family of five will cost $20,000 per year for the Bronze Plan (and you must buy it, under Federal law).

Bronze will be the lowest tier health-insurance plan available under Obamacare–after Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Under the law, the penalty for not buying health insurance is supposed to be capped at either the annual average Bronze premium, 2.5 percent of taxable income, or $2,085.00 per family in 2016.

In 2011, the median household income was $50,054. So, the Bronze insurance plan is so expensive that households may choose to pay a penalty (which Chief (In)Justice Roberts ruled as a tax). So, if you buy insurance, that is going to take a big chunk of income from your pay. But even if you pay the penalty to avoid buying health insurance, you are still going to be poorer by $2,000 or more each year going forward.

You can now understand that Obamacare is consistent with the dreaded UN Agenda 21 where government wants to herd households into the city into green apartments. After Obamacare taxes and insurance premiums kick in, you might HAVE to live in an apartment.

Here is a photo of Obama’s Bronze Insurance Plan chasing households into green, apartments where they don’t want to live.

Speaker Pelosi told us that they would have to pass Obamacare to see what’s in it. Well, now we know.

Politicians, like John Kerry or Obama, expect to be out of the country and living comfortably when it all comes down.

I would not be surprised if Obama himself does not understand the details and impact of his plan. He probably just left all the details to his staffers, who were under strict orders to “pass something”.

The law was designed so that no one could afford private insurance and eventually, there would be demand for complete government-run health care. Thus, government would then take absolute control of our bodies and our lives. The ultimate power.

Obama knows. It’s all part of the plan.

This is for a family that is filing a joint return and make $120,000. I read the IRS has determined that the cost or tax is based on individual status so a child is no more expensive or less than anyone else, but they are earning a wage as an individual. A family of five income of $120,000 falls out of the qualifying federal tax credit.

Now you know what the odd special military operations are for in the cities. Had them in St. Louis, Houston, Miami, etc. ... it’s to protect, rescue, and evacuate the bureaucrats when SHTF.

Just watched a teaser video, “the Battle of Athens 1946”. (Tennessee). I must say, I started daydreaming.

This law created 15,000 new high paying IRS jobs in the Capitol district (many for otherwise unemployable law grads) and you’re complaining?

You’re missing the upside.
Every year the Death Panels chop off the life expectancy is tremendous for the SocSec and Medicare financials.

It seems they never stop trying to create the old movie “Metropolis,” only for real. These are the people who read “1984” not as a warning, but as a blueprint.
