White House Blames GOP for Shrinking Economy
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 2 Jan 2013 | John Semmens

Posted on 02/04/2013 8:50:14 AM PST by John Semmens

“The decline in the country’s fourth quarter GDP isn’t President Obama’s fault,” says Press Secretary Jay Carney. “If you want to blame someone, blame the Republicans.”

It is Carney’s contention that “opposition to the President’s agenda is what is causing uncertainty in the markets. As anyone in business can tell you, uncertainty discourages investment and hiring.”

“What the country needs is unity,” Carney advised. “The sooner everyone gets in step and marches to the same beat the sooner we will be able to pull the nation out of the recession we inherited from George Bush.”

“The Republicans in Congress need to stop trying to impede the President’s program,” Carney demanded. “He won the election. He has a mandate. The argument that we can’t afford his program is bogus. As Nobel Prize winning economist Paul Krugman has reminded us, the Government can print as much money as necessary. It should be clear that the GOP’s resistance is spiteful obstruction, at best. At this point, one must really question their loyalty to the country and the will of the people.”

His program is bogus, indeed the only agenda he has is to print money.
He thinks like a child not an adult.

Differences between your semi-satire and the real thing are now virtually indistinguishable.

I read a great article by Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Ret. written February 4, 2011 from "NewsWithViews.com" and here's part of it.
Read Compromise Is a Dirty Word for Club for Growth.
We will never unify under "Establishment Republicans" .
"Establishment Republicans" have more in common with the Democrats, than they do with Conservatives.
The weak candidates are "Establishment Republicans", weak on national security, amnesty for illegals, abortion, and government spending.
"Establishment Republicans" scream "COMPROMISE".
And people who study the Bible know that COMPROMISE almost always leads to destruction.
These "Establishment Republicans" are being weeded out, one by one, and slowly but surely, the TEA Party is taking over.

Someone once said [We're] 'Not victims of "the Establishment." '
I disagree.
I ask you again: It WAS Mitt Romney, leader of the "Establishment Republicans"
and it WAS the "Establishment Republicans" who funded all those negative ads against Conservatives.

So conservatives, the BASE of the Republican Party, WERE ' victims of "the Establishment." '

Take a good long look at where "Establishment Republicans" ALWAYS take us.

Here's something to consider about liberals, and conservatives.

We MUST get rid of these evil people.

Wow...now THAT'S original. Way to think outside the box.

Child Obama out trick and treating, Republicans stole his candy. Child Obama hunting for Easter eggs, Republicans took his basket. Child Obama wanted to receive I love you Valentines from Republicans and sulked because he received none. Child Obama cried since his Republican playmates received more Christmas gifts under their tree than he did under his.

Good satire, but scarey because it does seem to be the prevailing mindset in DC during this administration.

This isn’t satire. The Administration really did blame the GOP for the 4th Qtr decline.

I know this is satire, but CNN is reporting this. I caught their report over lunch yesterday

“Housing is great, job creation is great, the economy shows all signs of a boom, except for the pointless infighting in Washington that could derail it all.”

What a bunch of BS.

My own take on “compromise” is: threaten, capitulate. As in “Security has been compromised.” That means security no longer exists. Substitute security with: morality, ethics, virginity...

It might have helped, if the budget he submitted to the Senate would have gotten passed, instead of turned down 98 to 2... That would be a Democratic controlled Senate. Oh how soon they tend to forget, it´s freightening to think people might actually believe some of this stuff that Carney is saying. If a lie is repeated often enough, people do tend to believe it as true.

"Compromise" is the Devil's game.
It's a "LOSE-LOSE" situation.

I know, it’s just the “quoted” words that are partial fiction but the thoughts expressed are quite accurate.

Absolutely!

Compromise is what relativism is based upon.

Truth is absolute. God is truth.

Compromised truth is absolute evil.
