It’s possible that those words reflect a wish rather than any semblance of reality.
“The American People” no longer exist.
There might be some Americans around but their influence is being diluted by an influx of people who believe in rock-ribbed, nitty-gritty, aggressive socialism that is repelled by any thought of an “American” system, based on the Constitution.

If it is to be, it better happen soon because America is running out of Americans and the time when Americans are a minority in America is approaching like a speeding freight train!!!
I see no indication that the American public is inclined to act against government crime and corruption. 47% seem to think that it’s just fine and dandy, and a number of the remainder are trying to figure out how to get in on the action.
Obama is an empty-suit puppet who can’t even speak w/o the pre-written text fed him via a teleprompter. I doubt he possess the mental facilities to concoct such an intricate plan nor would he smart enough to implement it. Not that those pulling the strings couldn’t, but in my opinion they would need a much smarter puppet to pull it off. President Odumbo isn’t that man.
That’s why they have Valerie Jarrett.
Petraeus, the Admirals and Generals removed, then no bolts in the Marine’s rifles at the inaugeration, brings up numerous questions that makes you wonder if there is not something patriotic slowly working in the background.
When One party dominates any span of time—it gets corrupt and bloated and insensitive to the will of the people. Democrat, Whig, Federalist, Democtatic-Republican or Republican. Once the people catch on they are tossed from power. This will happen to the Progressives in time. The cracks are starting in the grand structure of Media/Unions/Socialist Colleges/ and Leftist Democrats/ and Socialists is starting to wear thin. It will take a while but the corruption will undermine things and they will fall.
