i don’t need to be ~ and, in general, dead bodies get disposed of in several ways all of which are reported. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/profiles-believed-killed-la-policeman-18492253 provides a brief bio on all the victims. I trust there are death certificates and grieving friends and family. Only a nut case would argue that none of these people existed or that they aren’t really dead.

It isn't a question of whether they existed, or whether they are really dead. The seminal questions are of how they got that way and who made that happen. Just for good measure, throw in a "why" as well.

If you want to take ABC's word for what happened, that's up to you. In doing so, you would appoint them the arbiter of evidence, judge, and jury.

Frankly, in my contact with the media, they seldom deserve a fraction of your trust.

That is why we have courts, and even they are not infallible.
