It's been a while since I posted a rant about the media, so if you will, please allow me a few short minutes of your time. The media is more than worthy of any and all sarcasm and disdain you and I could possibly muster up. After all, not just any group can perform with bias and stupidity at the level the media has practiced.
On any given day, many different news stories come across the radar of the American media. Along with those of us who are actually paying attention to what is going on in our country, they have a myriad of stories from which to choose. President Obama is usually out campaigning, so he is always good for a story. Somewhere, a Republican will suggest our government should get itself under control, so that is almost certain to garner a few lines in a newspaper or blog, or a special report by some liberal media outlet. After that, the media is free to pursue other stories that are obviously more important to Americans. Case in point would be two different stories that we have seen unfold in the last week.
First, we have the case of Chris Dorner. By now, everyone knows who Chris Dorner is. The manhunt for the ex police officer is now in the history books and the man is dead. This is the first time I have written about Dorner's saga and will not be going into details about what he did and why he did it. What puzzles me (not really) is why the media was so insistent about not reporting Dorner's left-wing liberal leanings, to the point of removing his manifesto from public view? I think we all know the answer to that puzzlement. Contrary to how the liberal media reported the stories about the shootings in Arizona and Aurora, CO, where they tried their best to tie them to Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and conservatives in general, they didn't want the rest of the world knowing that Chris Dorner was a radical left-wing liberal who went on a rampage with a gun. Liberal media bias, at its finest.
The second story I want to talk about is how the media has went after Marco Rubio for taking a sip of water during his response to President Obama's State of the Union speech. CNN declares they were only joking when they suggested the sip of water may have ended any future political aspirations Marco Rubio may have had. I don't have a television, but the reports I have seen tell me that the clip of Rubio sipping the water has been played time after time on the liberal media outlets. With the fiscal condition of our country and the other threats staring us all in the face, the liberal media would rather be talking about Marco Rubio and his water. Give me a break. Liberal media stupidity, at its finest.
What about Benghazi and the deaths of our fellow Americans? What about Fast and Furious and the deaths of our Border Patrol Agents, as well as the Mexicans who died at the hands of the drug runners who were using the weapons acquired from the ATF? What about Jack Lew and his Cayman Island holdings? What about the other scandals who would have been a dark cloud hanging over any other administration, but instead are only a small footnote for President Obama?
To anyone who tries to tell me the media is unbiased, I say that's a load of hogwash. They should give up their pretense and at least tell us the truth, that they are firmly in the corner of the most liberal president America has ever had in the White House.
This article is almost correct.
Yes, there is a liberal bias in the press, but what’s happened in the last four years is beyond simply a bias.
The media has made themselves protectors of the current regime. They are reporting the news like Pravda did in the USSR except they are not being forced to do so in this country like the media was in the USSR

There is a new show out called “The Americans.”
I propose a new show called “American Pravda.”. It is about a President who acts like Obama and the every week a newsroom is inventing new ways to keep him in office. Could be a comedy.
Chevy Chase is the President and the head of the Newsroom is Alec Baldwin.
Isn’t it ironic that the msm openly campaigned and is actively protecting a man who is openly working to destroy the very document that protects the press.
Ok. The media are biased. And the sun rises in the east. The time for complaining about it is past. The time for doing something about it is now.
Asking the media to admit their bias is like asking a drunk to admit his alcoholism. Don’t waste your time. Accept them for what they are and build a life without them. Whatever you do, don’t base your decisions around the necessity of them changing.
They briefly broke rank at the beginning of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and as a result, Bill Clinton was impeached. They can't let that happen again. Obama is too important. He's infallible and the sinless savior of these people.
‘Rubio’ and ‘water’. What is the stereotype about Mexico - don’t drink the water.
Racist. Obviously. (ok, just kidding, but we know that if we had a conservative media and they talked about it at all, the charge of racism would be out there).
If you don’t agree with Rubio then you hate Cubans, and all hispanics, and are hence a racist!
“I propose a new show called American Pravda.
I’d just be happy with a show called L’il Obamas.
