An elementary school principal in the Denver suburbs told parents that white children would be excluded from an after-school tutoring initiative.
Andre C. Pearson, the principal at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora, Colorado sent letters home to parents informing them that only students of color are eligible for the program, KJCT, the local ABC affiliate, reports.
Some shocked parents have alleged discrimination and segregation, reports CBS Denver.
“I was infuriated,” one parent, Nicole Cox, told CBS Denver. “I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups.”
“We have come so far in all of these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally,” Cox added.
Cox is white. She has a 10-year-old daughter at the school, and she wants her daughter to have tutoring.

I like your idea and agree with the concept, but we will still subsidize it whether or not we have students there.

Numerous whites only scholarships to varying colleges have been modified due to minority group pressure to include all, against the wishes of the (dead) donors who started and funded them
An African-American studies professor at Columbia University on Wednesday took to task a Texas student who is organizing scholarship exclusively for white men.
Marc Lamont Hill on MSNBC told Colby Bohannan — who came up with the scholarship idea — that “being white is itself a form of scholarship.” He said that white Americans have better access to health care, criminal justice and housing, among other things.
“There’s no need,” he said. In fact, Hill called it a “spectacle that we see every year with Affirmative-Action bake sales, with now whites-only scholarships, which only draw attention to white folk who are becoming increasingly frustrated that the world is becoming a little more fair.”
Bohannan disagrees.
“First of all, I just want to thank him for pointing out the fact that that ‘white folk,’ his words, not mine, have no problem affording anything,” Bohannan responded. “Right after I’m done with this interview, I’m going to go to the bank and say, ‘hey, I forgot I was a Caucasian American, can you just go ahead and throw some money in my account, please.’”
Bohannan — a student at Texas State University in San Marcos — is president of the Former Majority Association for Equality, the nonprofit group offering the scholarships. The group has raised enough money to offer five $500 scholarships for the fall 2011 semester. In order to qualify for the scholarships, applicants must be 25 percent Caucasian and have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
I think we may be operating with different definitions of the word “Public.” I was just referring to funding. There are two sets of rules.
If the Gates Foundation chooses to exclude white people from their programs, that’s their business because they are privately funded (It’s also their wont because they’re lefty loonies). The school, however, is publicly funded and therefore not supposed to be excluding anybody.
Why is there a school in Colorado named for a town in Orange County, California? Is the town full of refugees from California?
Only in a legal sense is it their business because they are privately funded. In reality they are subject to public pressure so would never dare have a whites/Asians only scholarship. Some rich man with cojones should do exactly this to make a point. There will be public outcries as makes a certain point about race based BS scholarships like the billion dollar one from Bill Gates Foundation which his wife mostly runs. It is her do-gooder program plus I think his father was on the board and worked there too

Sounds like we agree. I *was* only talking about the legal aspects. The rest of what you say about public pressure is spot on. Even Chick-Fil-A has responded to public pressure and pushed their private foundation leftward.

Wikipedia is probably your most convenient source, it has the same information as what I posted. Just plug in ‘Anthony Johnson (colonist)’ or ‘John Casor’.
I don’t think that there is any dispute over this bit of history, it’s just not well known. And the proponents of ‘white America as the root of evil’ aren’t much interested in publicizing it since a black plays a prominent role in establishing slavery in colonial America.

I went hunting yesterday after posting to you, and I found it pretty easily. You are right it is no secret, but like I stated , we won’t be seeing this taught in any black schools and the History channel will avoid it like the plague.
