Thanks ...didn’t know that...I picked up it way down south on a Dx160 on a loop....
I would regularly be able to get AM 740 out of Toronto down in Central NJ... on a countertop transitor radio... Christmastime I would tune it in at night for either good traditional Christmas music or old radio shows from the gilden age... and just task in the kitchen, checking thein grocery storeshop circulars, checking coupons for the old “double whammy” of items being on sale plus my coupons... or just making my shopping list or meal planning.
I guess it was reliving my childhood of mom having her kitchen AM radio tuned into WOR... It was a sad day when she got the 5” B&W television set mounted under the corner cupboard... I imagine the radio is 75’to down at the bottom of some landfill now.
I have been listening to 1950’s music on tunein radio. They play wonderful music I grew up listening to. The site even has a station which plays Christmas music. Another great site is bostonpete which plays different kinds of music but my favorite is old western music by Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and others. Give them a try.
