All they need to do is initiate a new bracero program, allowing them to work here & return home.
Whoever told you that we don't have the widest ranging list of guest worker programs ever is lying to you.
Last summer we were giving migrant workers from Mexico welfare because there was no work for them due to the drought. I guess I was mistaken about the meaning of "Migrant". I thought they migrated to where there was work. Now the fruit growers here in Michigan are saying they'll need more migrant workers because the last bunch took their welfare and scattered.

We have a Representative in southern OR named Sal Esquivel. I heard him speak once where he mentioned a Bracero program his father had used. People were brought in, picked the crops, then sent home by the farmers that used their services. He specifically said that program is no longer available. I would expect a state rep to know.
