Well, there you have it. How can you win when you don’t even understand the battlefield?

You appear to be falling for the Rove trap, that is, take a poll, and then try and position your candidate or your party to agree with that poll, regardless of how misguided it is.

Reagan, Newt in the 90s, (Newt for a while in 2011) - the 2010 mid term agenda, was not about agreeing with polls. Those victories were about convincing voters we are right. There’s a huge difference. The Rove way fails.

Stevens has probably evaluated his current employment possibilities and decided that few Republican candidates will want to hire him after the November debacle. However, perhaps there’s a place for another Karl Rove-type talking head somewhere in the MSM.

Hiring guys like this helped Romney lose the election. Instead having hard hitting commercials Romney gives us this bozo who sounds like a democratic plant!

Pery had three bad nights in a row, the last one being horrible, and that’s what sunk him.

"Chief Strategist"?

Doesn't look as if Romney ever had a chance.

A candidate should be his own strategist. How can he perform the job as President, if he can’t even do that?

LOL!

And I’ve heard my whole life that voting third party is a waste of a vote.

Voting GOP is also a waste of a vote.

And we all fell for it one more time...

...Never again.

And don’t forget that other idiot, Eric Fehrnstom, of Etch-a-Sketch fame.

That comment told millions of voters to stay home because Romney didn’t believe in anything.

Fehrnstorm’s consultant company made millions off the Romney campaign funds in the process. Think he’s worried about Obama’s reign of terror.

Someone should shove the Candy Crowley moderated debate video in front of Stu-pid’s face and ask him to defend his POV again.

You misunderstand.

I think the Rove strategy is reprehensible, and is the undoing of the conservative movement.

However, the polls do demonstrate persuasively that a huge fraction of Americans think they are entitled to receive free stuff from government.

Well I don’t know if the polls show that exact thing specifically, but my point is this: a poll is where you start voter education, it is not where you start candidate capitulation.
