In spite of a concerted campaign by 'anti-Zionists', the Rolling Stones have announced they have no intention of cancelling their planned concert in Jerusalem on Israels Independence Day, Monday, April 15.
Weve been slammed and smacked and twittered a lot by the anti-Israeli side, said Mick Jagger, the bands leader and most recognizable member since 1963. All I can say is: anything worth doing is worth overdoing. So we decided to add a concert on Tuesday.
Needless to say, tickets to both concerts, Monday night in Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem and Tuesday night in Bloomfield Stadium, Tel Aviv, have been sold out even as Jagger was speaking.
This is a huge mistake for the Stones, declared BDS proponent Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb. They stand to lose a lot of money as a result of showing solidarity with Zionism, because their most devoted fans also support boycotting Israel.

I’ve never been particularly impressed by the Stones.
Huh? Let's get the Hell's Angels to do security at the event.
Hey Israel haters, ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
Hey, you, get off of my cloud!
Yup. Just gained a lot of respect for them.
Never owned an album, but will now!
That takes .... Stones!
You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need.
Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb (via wikipedia): “Gottlieb led a Fellowship of Reconciliation delegation to Iran in 2008, thus becoming the first female rabbi to visit Iran in a public delegation since the 1979 Iranian revolution.”
nice additional touch there. Looks at Israel and Iran and can’t tell which one is led by totalitarian fascists.
Go to h*ll, “rabbi” Gottlieb.
And stay there.
Two words, “Gimme Shelter”.
Can’t say I’ve listened to them, but I will buy some albums and pass them out.
Wife and I saw the Stones in concert at the Metrodome in Minneapolis some years ago. It was a hoot !
The greatness or worth of a person is not measured by his or her outward appearance. Jews believe that Adam was created in G-d's image and that he is the common ancestor of all mankind. At this stage in human history, there is no room for privileged people who can do with others as they please. Human life is sacred and human rights are not to be denied by those who would subvert them for "national security" or for any other reason. No one knows this better than the Jews, who have been second-class citizens so often and for so long. Some Zionists, however, may differ. This is understandable because Judaism and Zionism are by no means the same. Indeed they are incompatible and irreconcilable: If one is a good Jew, one cannot be a Zionist; if one is a Zionist, one cannot be a good Jew.
When is a rabbi not a rabbi?
When she’s a she.
Mick: “Wild Horses” couldn’t drag us away!
