In an email, CEO Martin Marty Landon told employees not to return to work unless they receive notice from the company's human resources department.

I don't believe any scooters or parts are Manufactured or Assembled in New Braunfels. The 1500 employees of the Scooter Store are for Selling and Support only. The Scooter Store buys the Scooters and Parts from another Company, I think it's Pride Mobility?
Although it appears they don't have much SKIN in the Game, recent events proves otherwise. Marketing!!!!!!!!!
layed off in NB. Seems like a lot of employees.!
Most all the people, including teens, that want a job can get a job here during the Summer, we are, after all a Tourist Destination (Trap).
But of that 15 to 18 hundred FURLOUGHED EMPLOYEES (which can not collect Unemployment insurance until they are officially Laid Off or Let go) about a quarter of them did not live in the City (Violating the Tax Abatement agreement our Idiot 4B board/City Council) signed with the Scooter Store.
It will be tough for allot of these people and I certainly feel for them, but such is Life.
I've always been generous to deserving people more unfortunate than I and will continue to help all that I can and then some.
