Releasing illegal alien criminals - it's not just for Arizona anymore...
In a political hissy fit, the Obama administration canceled White House tours and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released thousands of detainees ahead of the implementation of sequestration, all in attempt to make the public “feel” the effects of the forced spending cuts.
But effort has largely backfired on Obama from a public relations standpoint, with children being denied access to “the people’s house” and the American public outraged at the potential harm from the release of illegal immigrant detainees with criminal records.
We have reported on the release of 300+ criminal aliens in Arizona, including drug smugglers with cartel ties, convicted child and those convicted of aggravated assault on police officers.
Now from Florida, comes news that one-third of the detainees released last month have criminal records, as the Miami Herald reported.
Seventy-six of the 225 illegal immigrants released in the state by Immigration and Customs Enforcement have criminal convictions, including two who were considered aggravated felons.
In all, ICE last month released from detention 2,228 illegal immigrants, 629 of whom had criminal records. The detainees were released by federal officials between Feb. 9 and March 1 and remain under so-called "supervised release" - which has been notorious for its lax standards. Between 2009 and 2011, 16% of all illegal alien detainees released by the Obama Administration went on to commit further crimes, including 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes.
I guess that's what passes for "supervised"...Obama-style.
All we can do now is hope that Floridians - and the many tourists visiting the state for Spring vacations - don't become further causalities of Obama and Napolitano's political battles. All this goes to prove that DHS is far too politicized to be trusted to declare the border "secure" as a trigger for any flavor of "immigration reform".
Not to worry.
The Congress supported this treasonous release of murderers,
and rapists, and criminals BECAUSE THEY and their families
are fully protected.
Other Americans? Not so much.

Releasing those prisoners was the act of a petulant, dangerous narcissist.Obama behaved like a shopaholic who just had her credit cards cancelled.
But if a tree falls in the forest and the media doesn’t report it, does it make any sound?
Should be 100% criminal if they were all properly adjudicated.
They need to be locked back up again, but FIRST let's lock up the SOBs that released them!
