I came across this today and since I am a old fan of the original series, I thought I would break away from my Obama ineligibility and document fraud threads and post something different. The promo is getting rave reviews from everyone who has watched it. Enjoy

Great post! Needed a laugh. I love Shatner at the end “Ok, now you’re over-acting.” And Bill looks awesome for being 82.

Hilarious!

I loved the Gorn episode reference in Galaxy Quest.

In the 1999 film Galaxy Quest, as actor Jason Nesmith (”Cmdr. Peter Quincy Taggart”) battles the giant Rock Creature on a barren planet (with his shirt ripped off), Guy Fleegman (”Crewman #6”) suggests he try to find the makings of a “rudimentary lathe”.

Ha Ha. Let’s see, coal, saltpeter, sulfer and FIST-SIZED CHUNCKS OF PURE DIAMOND. Do I really need an emergency to break the glass?

Unlike Mythbusters, these guys were able to make the Gorn Cannon actually work.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66YGpJ_HbBo

The theory, according to them, is that Mythbusters intentionally sabotaged their own experiment to avoid lawsuits in the event someone tried to do it themselves.

They make the gun powder using the same materials as Kirk, with a smaller bamboo stick, and they shoot the thing a few times.

I printed that and posted it in the passageway out by the fire extinguisher. Somebody took it down.

Daughter watched the clips, the original, and the video game trailer. She asked: “Shatner was the original KIRK ?”

Youth. They know nothing.

Yup...had 'em for quite some time, along with his American Saddlebred horses.

He's quite the guy...:)

Google "celebrity Dobermans".

Lots of people you wouldn't imagine.

If they used charcoal as the equivalent as coal, then they are either ignorant or they are using their media status to spread disinformation.

A long time friend of mines wife is absolutely, completely Obsessed with William Shatner.
I have zero doubt that in an instant or a heartbeat she would rip all her clothes off to be ravaged by an 80+ year old Captain kirk.

i like her and all but her Shatner obsession is kind of freaky.....

I like Bill too......
