That's a fact, but I sometimes wonder if the power and altitude of their offices hasn't partially blinded them to the danger of what they're playing with.

I honestly believe that they're aware of the hornet's nest buzzing outside their window, but at the same time, they appear to be disturbing the hornets while preparing for a confrontation with them.

Doesn't make a lot of sense, but these are some of the sickest ideologues the world has ever seen. What fool would poke a nest with 100 million armed hornets in it, knowing that they can turn you into a lump of unrecognizable jelly?

Perhaps we should cheer their lack of logic. It could hasten their end, and a new beginning for the Republic as it was given to us by the Founders.

There are more of ‘we the people’ than there are of them.

Danged shame that it might come to that, but if that's the only way to preserve the constitutional republic, then that's the way it'll be.

The Big battle will be who can preach the better propaganda spin on who is “The Bad Guy”.

The progressives, the democrats, the Islamic supporters all have the funds and cohorts in the MSM to send out a non stop barrage of convincing rhetoric to most people painting the compassionate liberal, gun grabbing pro socialist as Americas salvation, that America will be better off embracing Islam, that it can never win a war against Islam, everyone must be disarmed and pacified for their own good, all gun thoughts scrubbed away or the hardliners sent to mental institutions.

Sorry guys, but I've been either active duty or actively supporting the military since 1976, and I can tell you that there will be those who will blindly follow orders. If the Bonus Army is too far back to make a point, how about Waco? Look up Gen. Boykin's contribution to that debacle. Or the 1967 Detroit riots....Look at commentary in this very forum where so-called conservatives want to rid the nation of liberals/democrats/illegal aliens/TSA/out of control cops/add additional demographic here. If you have an AKO account, check out some of the commentary on the military boards.
Geez - the military is a microcosm of the US populace. If a cowardly, malevolent government entity paints a group of US citizens as "terrorists", the military will shoot without question. If they are suspected of possibly siding with relatives, they will be transferred somewhere else so they can shoot somebody elses mother, sisters, fathers, neighbors.

I've never claimed that every member of the military would mutiny against orders to shoot American citizens. I've always maintained that a majority of our military would not obey that order.

It's all a moot point anyway. There are far too many armed citizens for us to be overcome by force.
