State may be FORCED to implement ObamaCare whether they like it or not!

So far, 26 states have opted against building ObamaCare exchanges making it clear to Kathleen Sebelius that her Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will have to do all of the work and pay the tab for the creation of any Affordable Care Act “sales center” within their borders. And as the Act provides no funds for the Department to build or staff an exchange, implementation of ObamaCare rules and regulations would seem impossible within those states.

Moreover, in addition to throwing the financial burden of the Affordable Care Act back in the lap of an unprepared HHS, a number of state legislatures have passed laws making the Act’s implementation and enforcement illegal.

But Barack has different ideas.

“The Obama administration has announced its intent to...

The 0bama administration is a communist occupation government.

Eventually, they will have to enforce the borders ... to keep people IN.

Obama is not the boss of us.

Take another look. He is America's first dictator and has he been stopped yet? He moves slowly but relentless to keep millions of Americans weak and confused. He bought America with our own money. Will anything stop him? Not that I can see and a civil war would destroy America.

So there is really no CHOICE in state’s being able to opt-out after all, is there?

imagine that...

Next they’ll try to tell us we can’t keep our current health plan or doctor, and costs will go up (But Obama prommised those would not happen either)

When the Obamacare SHTH, it is going to be a spectacle to behold. The implementation of Obamacare is going to make the Katrina and Sandy recoveries look like well-oiled machines.

Tell me if I’m wrong. My understanding is that the taxes to fund Obamacare will take place nationwide, regardless of whether individual states opt in or not. In other words, all states will be paying for Obamacare, even if they aren’t a part of it.

There will come a time when we all will realize that Obama is not the boss of us.

He thinks he is our boss right now, but he is mistaken.

Yeah, he is putting his hands around our neck and he is beginning to squeeze from all sectors, and yes he is a dictator.

But, this dictatorship is different from all the rest.

For one thing it is on our playing field, as if the Lord Himself has prepared it all.

We are right now learning everything we need to in order defeat him.

Remember the first rule of war is to know your enemy.

And when you know someone well it is easier to not fear them.

Like I said, he ain't the boss of us.

That’s what you get Dear Founders for setting us up in a system with an equivalent of a King George!

"“The Obama administration has announced its intent to disregard state laws and state constitutional amendments prohibiting the enforcement of ObamaCare. Federal agents from the Department of Health and Human Services will assume absolute control over states’ health insurance industry and regulation in states that refuse to comply with the federal healthcare mandates.” (1) "

Interesting.

Don’t blame the Founders, they set up a system that has worked better than any other elected representative government anywhere else, longer than anywhere else, in the world.

THey knew it was vulnerable because of the nature of PEOPLE. The caveat was that they had to have the large majority of people, be a moral people both running it and living in the country. Franklin’s “if you can keep it” comment alludes to it, as well as another’s “this govt only works with a moral people” comment. It was a government that required people to be SELF-controlled, not compelled/controlled by govt to be civil.

Well we’ve slowly become less and less moral. We’ve reached the pointthey warned about where people have found they can vote themselves other people’s money.

Don’t blame the Founders. You can’t set up a perfect system here when imperfect people are living and running it, and voting for totally selfish reasons. It could have been kept in check by remaining a Christian nation, swift death penalty sentences for capital crimes of murder, rape, kidnapping, bank robbery, attempted murder, and other heinous crimes. And the ongoing promotion of Christian values in education (which it was until commie Dewey and the Unitarians) and by parents.

But we went off that tried and tested formula. Because we knew better. Because we needed something “better” and “new”. And here we are. Not the Founders’ fault.

More accurately it destroyed about 1/2 of America. And about a million people altogether.

You have a point. And so do I. Is there a publicly traded company that you know that appoints its chief executive for a fixed term of 4 years with the rules set up in such a way that it is nearly impossible to remove him, because, say, the lowest paid, lowest intelligence workers would have to approve his removal? Well, a prime minister in parliamentary systems, that is the chief executive, can be relatively easily removed. The president in such systems is elected for a fixed term and does not wield much day to day executive power. All points about morality, God and so on being perfectly valid, but in setting up executive powers, our Founders blew it!

The problem with politics today is that there is no difference between the actual decrees from our Dear Leader and a parody written by someone who sees Obama as evil incarnate. I’m often left wondering whether commentary about the usurper is real or satire.

granted it may be too difficult to remove the executive but i would assume the founders imagined enough of americans would revolt before they’d let a tyrant rule over them. the founders revolted over a lot less.

they did leave that clause/option on the table.

maybe you just feel like hanging it o thgem, that’s fine. i really don’t as they knew the vulnerabilities and it’s hard for them to think of all contingencies. i don’t think most envisioned the serious possibility of a country as it is today.

No question, the Founders didn’t anticipate the country as it is today. It’s just that the model they used was the 18th century model, that of King George, and it’s gotten old and archaic, with its flaws for all to see.

To: Revolting cat!

well it may have shortcomings, i do not think it is old or archaic or flawed because of that. i think there could be some small changes made but the framework is sound.

the real problem we have today are politicians ignoring the constitution, and passing and enforcing unconstitutional laws claiming they are constitutional, when the common people see and know they aren’t. and compounding the problem is lesser magistrates - states, governors, etc, do not understand they have a duty to protect people from unconstitutional laws, and not to enforce unconstitutional laws the federal/or their state governments create. some are waking up now because of the tremendous 10th amendment violations of fedgov, but most aren’t.

To: Revolting cat!

maybe i could have said it more concise, the problem we have today is federalism. unchecked. usurpation of powers not delegated to fedgov. and the states to blame for letting them do it. not an old form of government.

you can’t blame the form of government when current politicians aren’t following it. they ignore it, deliberately go agaimst it, pass laws by power they never had delegated to them, etc. if anything the blame is on us for not removing them ourselves. we just sit here and let them keep doing things we all see are unconstitutional. we have normalcy bias too.
