Feral hogs are taking over the South. We will eat high on the hog.

All of them are tasty if you take them at the right time of the year, know how to clean them and cook them.
It’s best not to take a pig when there are a lot of green acorns and pecans on the ground. If you can, wait until they are dry then take your pig. Even then it’s best to trim the fat before you cook it.
