Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy had some harsh words for NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre on Sunday, comparing the gun lobby chief to "clowns at the circus."
Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union" with Candy Crowley, Malloy hit back at LaPierre over his dismissal of Connecticut's strict new gun laws.
"Wayne reminds me of the clowns at the circus. They get the most attention," Malloy said.
"And that's what he's paid to do. But the reality is is that the gun that was used to kill 26 people on Dec. 14 was legally purchased in the state of Connecticut, even though we had an Assault Weapons Ban. But there were loopholes in it that you could drive a truck through."
Malloy also noted poll after poll that show around 90 percent of Americans supporting a federal expansion of universal background checks.

So, according to Malloy, if “poll after poll” showed a majority of Americans wanted to send Jews to camps, it would be the right thing to do.

Good post and sadly one that illustrates the main problem of conservatives, a media that opposes our views and ignores realities. Fox News, the closest network to being conservative, just can’t carry water for our cause, whether it be gun ownership, abortion, economics, voting rights, constitutional support or whatever. Our (and America’s) only hope is to find a means of educating the masses via a media readily accessible to all. The format must be appealing enough to invite viewership and interesting enough to retain interest. Perhaps even create a video game called “Loss of Rights” where one must exist in a progressively totalitarian state. This could be followed by a TV program called “A Life Lost” showing the lives of famous people who would have been aborted in today’s society.

These laws are not designed to stop criminals from getting guns. They are designed to create a lot of new felony crimes in which honest people will run afoul of them and be declared felons, allowing the cops to CONFISCATE all firearms owned by the new lawbreaker.
In CT, NY and CO, many people went to sleep as honest citizens and woke up felons in their own homes without ever committing a crime.
It showed a mob with a loop around a handgun.
