These photos from yesterdays marathon were forwarded to me from a trusted source and came from a Japanese Flickr account.
This photo here shows the Boston crowd before the bombing
And then after the bombing.
Not likely that the kid in the picture is the 8 year old. An 8 y/o would be pretty big to be sitting on someone's shoulders and his dad was running in the race. He was with his mother and two siblings.
Thank God for Freep, b/c we need to post as much evidence as possible before Obamatollah pulls another....
“Oh, this was a protest that got out of control b/c of an obscure YouTube video criticizing the prophet of islam. Oh, and by the way, my middle name’s Hussein and my wedding band is inscribed ALLAH but I’m Christian.”
How is this not irresponsible speculation?
You are correct. Also, his father has a full head of hair, not partially bald.
Pressure cookers come in many different sizes.
Thats what Iam thinking to his thumb is under the strap in the 2nd picture.
Saw it somewhere. I believe I too read 6 quart. Will go take a look.
What? It’s called TRYING TO FIND A TERRORIST and the authorities have asked for the public’s help. We are FreerePUBLIC and we’re TRYIN’ to help!
I don't see why anyone expects to see the bomber after the bomb--
My theory--the bombs were in the trash can the night before. Why did so many people get their legs full of shrapnel? That suggests to me that the explosion happened close to the ground, where legs and small children are. People have been at the corner all day, throwing trash on top of the bomb. Accumulation of trash and position of the bomb suggest to me that it was there from the start of the day.
I'd like to know when those cans were placed, when they were last cleaned. Were they brought in special for the run? Can bomb-sniffing dogs smell one of these bombs made in a pressure cooker? (I guess the pressure cooker, which has a strong seal...you know, I don't know why a pressure cooker makes a bomb more than another pot would...)
How many devices in total did they find?
We should let the professionals investigate. FBI’s finest are on the job! (PAGING Mr Richard Jewell!)
You’re thinking of a canning pressure cooker, to can several quart jars at the same time. I think the smallest pressure cooker you can get is five or six quarts.
Speculation is mostly irresponsible until it leads to an answer.
I'm with you on this. In second pic, thumb under strap, plus his neck still appears to be leaning forward as if he still had a backpack.
interesting, but from the photos, one cannot tell that he moved all that far from the detonation site. You’d think that he’d be gone, altogether, unless he was given that backpack by someone else.
Placing the bomb inside the building increases the lethality of the device using the glass from the store windows vs. large crowd of pedestrians.
link says 6 liter cooker ... second paragraph http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/trending/Pressure-cooker-bombs-Department-of-Homeland-Security-memo-2004.html
Well, I have read that people almost always think that when glass breaks with an explosion that it blows up from the inside. I don’t think so in this case. While I am skeptical of the authorities and their constant PC spin, accounts I’ve read say that it did not come from inside the building.
