Cable Companies Create Opportunity In Live Streaming For Netflix

I disagree. There is a lot of content on Netflix streaming. Can you find everything? No. But I’m actually shocked at how much I can find. I gave up premium cable about 2 years ago and just use Roku/Netflix Streaming and am very happy—especially about not paying for crap cable shows I don’t watch. With today’s technology, its now longer acceptable to see the shows you want on someone else’s schedule. My one (slight) regret is that I can’t see a handful of shows when they’re fresh, like “The Walking Dead” for example.

I have great news! You can watch new cable shows on your Roku legally. Just install the Amazon VOD app on your Roku and buy season passes to new shows online. They even have the new season of the Walking Dead available for purchase and I see the new episode the day after it airs. I also love watching me some new Duck Dynasty courtesy of Amazon and Roku.

Try adding Amazon Prime. Between that and Netflix, there is a ton of free TV and the ability to rent movies as desired.

I had Hulu prime, they would have really rounded out the package with current TV content but they won’t let you stream a lot of stuff to anything but a computer. There are some work arounds but not worth the hassel.

Check for updates the XS is supposed to get and interface upgrade this month.

2-3 bucks an episode is a little steep in my opinion, but maybe I’m just cheep.

I had Hulu and dropped it. Ticked me off that I could see things on the fee Hulu that I couldn’t see on the subscription Hulu.
