Less than two dozen. They are not a cult, because they are not a church in any sense. It's just a name they chose to discredit Baptists.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that. They carry signs with outrageously anti-fag messages, such as "God hates fags", and claiming that when anything bad happens, it's because this country tolerates fags. It's part of their plan to discredit the anti-homosexual viewpoint and Christians, Baptists in particular.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), listed in Wikipedia as the largest association of Baptists in America, has this to say about Democrat Phelps and his crew:

Thanks. I couldn't make the connection between the victim, who was soon to be married, and their protest. How damning of the WB to think this evil done by the BB is from God. The WB are nothing but pawns of satan as they assign that which is from evil/satan is from God. I'm amazed how many fall into the 'deception trap of satan' with their eyes supposedly wide open.

He is deceived and doesn't know it. He's deceived because his focus is on deception - evil/homosexuality - and not on God as evil/bombings on Americans is not from God - while he's claiming it is.
They should be right next to them and protest against them with the truth on what they are doing. They are too deceived to know it.
