LOL! Si and the mangoes are probably from Mexico. The really GREAT mangoes, the Hadens grown right here in South Florida, don’t ripen until July. BTW, those Haden mangoes are not only the BEST mangoes but also the BEST fruit in the world. Absolutely outstanding.

No mango season in the Phillipines? I bet they don’t have any mangoes that can match our Haden mangoes.

When architects and engineers from all over the world are saying the 3 buildings that fell on 9/11/2001 were controlled demolitions, then that's what they were whether we like it or not!!!! And they call conservatives conspiracy theorists!

Here is a pic of a couple of not quite ripe Haden mangoes that gives you an idea of the size of them.
p.s. That's NOT me in the pic.

They are always in season, just as bananas, oranges, and apples.
I do not know what a Haden mango is.
On my daily round in the market, the fruit vendors have
piles of new mangoes, along with apples and oranges.
I buy my bananas from just one old lady, as she knows
just the right ones for my baby boy.
If I pick up the wrong bananas she will correct me.
My daily bicycle ride to the market is a ritual.

Yeah, I know about those small yellow mangoes. Trust me, they do NOT have the rich flavor and sweetness of our Haden Mangoes. Haden mangoes are made from grafted branches. They don't exist in nature. In fact, when they are almost ripe in the summer, they are so heavy that the tree limbs look like they are suffering from hernias. Also these mangoes here in South Florida are at the northern limit of where mangoes can grow. Like oranges, the relatively cold subtropical winters here (compared to the tropics) causes a special flavor and, especially, sweetness in the mangoes. This often happens in the world of fruit. The best fruit often are the ones that endure stress.
p.s. When ripe, the Haden mangoes have a rich panoply of colors on them that range in the same mango from dark red to light red to yellow to purple.

William Pitt YOU ARE A F*CKING HYPOCRITE OF THE WORST SORT!!!! When architects and engineers from all over the world are saying the 3 buildings that fell on 9/11/2001 were controlled demolitions, then that's what they were whether we like it or not!!!! ...So, to all those who continue to bash the 9/11 truth movement (as that c--- William Pitt has always done!!!), you are the main fuel for the biggest lie that is used to justify all the hateful acts and wars against Muslims throughout the world ('hateful acts' as illustrated by the first paragraph of the article). SHAME ON YOU William Pitt!!Dang, when did Alex Jones start posting at DU?

I made a mistake. The big mangoes here that ripen July thru September are actually Kent mangoes. Developing from grafts in Coconut Grove in 1932.

Well, I am not an authority on mangoes.
I just know that the ones grown here are excellent and
a perfect size.
My wife cuts them lengthwise into two halves and then
she dices the meat into half inch cubes that are easy to spoon or fork from each half.
We live in Dalaguete, the vegetable capital of Cebu, and blessed with an abundant supply of low cost fruits and vegetables.
