Oh, without SS numbers the varmints won’t qualify for medicare or tricare. Some democrats probably pull this off, but I don’t think this guy was trying that.
Didn’t mean to imply the people were trying a scam. I’m wondering if the pharmacy got confused.
Have you checked the price of Humulin at Walmart? It Is a lot cheaper than CVS.
So sorry for your loss.
“Have you checked the price of Humulin at Walmart?”
I haven’t but I will now. As soon as he was diagnosed, I went to the pharmacy that we use and is very close to home. Now that he has stabilized (and to be honest.. I am now very comfortable with giving the injections), I will definitely call. The Walmart closest to us is about 30 minutes away but if there is decent savings... I will go. Thanks for the advice, Ray. My checkbook thanks you, too. Hugs, Mom
We have a mini schnauzer that was diagnosed three years ago. She is 9 years old now. She weighs 10 pounds and gets 11 units twice a day. We buy the 10ml bottle at Walmart for around 25 bucks. Every other pharmacy that we have checked is around 100 bucks. We are in Kansas, but I don’t see why it would be different at any other Walmart.
