Islamic Sharia law is outdated, controlling, un democratic, barbaric, racist, sexist and just plain stupid. It is completely incompatible with modern life in civilized nations. Its no wonder those who live under Sharia in Muslim countries or those who call for it in the west are often regarded as a bit backwards, because Sharia most definitely is retarded. How can throwing a female who is a victim of not 1 repulsive rapist but of 3 evil rapists, into prison for having sex out of wedlock be any kind of justice. The woman never asked to be raped, she wasnt flirting with the attackers or leading them on in any way. Nor was she dressed provocatively and even if she had of been doing it still doesnt give anybody the right to violate her. Despite being totally blameless in any of her ordeal. Under Islams stupid Sharia the female victim is persecuted and treated like an offender. Sharia and Islam discriminate against non Muslims and females as victim who happens to be both found out. Because she never had 4 male witnesses to confirm she had been raped. With the Quran stating that sex from females is every Muslim males right, Sharia considers it lawful. This womans horrific ordeal should serve as a warning to all of possible things to come in the future. This is why we need to carry on opposing the Islamization of our infidel lands by Muslims and those who appease them. NO SURRENDER

With Dubai emerging as a major stopover point for long haul journeys, five hundred flights a month will deliver over one million of us to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the next year.Dubai is being promoted as a luxury high-class paradise in the desert, but the reality is brutally different, as Australian Alicia Gali discovered. Gali took a job in the UAE with one of the worlds biggest hotel chains, Starwood. What happened next makes this story a must-watch for every Australian planning on travelling through the region.
Gali was using her laptop in the hotels staff bar when her drink was spiked. She awoke to a nightmare beyond belief: she had been savagely raped by three of her colleagues. Alone and frightened, she took herself to hospital. What Alicia didnt know is that under the UAEs strict sharia laws, if the perpetrator does not confess, a rape cannot be convicted without four adult Muslim male witnesses. She was charged with having illicit sex outside marriage, and thrown in a filthy jail cell for eight months.
A shocking story from the United Arab Emirates every Australian traveller needs to see for themselves. Now, finally home and struggling to move on with her life, Alicia breaks her silence for the first time on television to reporter Ross Coulthart. Alicia Gali was savagely raped in the United Arab Emirates, then charged with having illicit sex outside marriage and thrown in jail for eight months.

Sunday Night emailed Alicias employer in the UAE, Starwood Hotels, with a detailed list of questions pertaining to her case. This was their response:
What happened in June 2008 to Alicia Gali, a former employee of Le Méridien Al Aqah hotel, was deplorable. While the hotel worked diligently on Ms. Galis behalf, the authorities investigated and prosecuted Ms. Gali under the local laws. Additionally, the men involved were also prosecuted and each served prison terms before being deported. As for Ms. Galis lawsuit against the hotel, we disagree with the allegations.
The hotel management provided support and assistance to Ms. Gali and her family throughout that time,
including assisting with medical support and the investigation, liaising with her representative Australian embassy and coordinating and arranging affairs with her family in Australia. Starwoods repeated approaches to discuss Ms. Galis claim with her attorneys have been ignored and declined. As this matter is part of an open on-going Starwood investigation and litigation commenced by Ms. Gali against Starwood and the Commonwealth of Australia, we cannot comment further at this time.
The safety and security of our associates and guests continues to be a paramount priority.
We also contacted the Australian government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) with a detailed list of questions regarding Alicias case. This was their response:
The Department rejects Ms Galis account of her dealings with the Australian Consulate in Dubai, as suggested in your letter of 7 May 2013. Ms Gali was provided with extensive consular assistance by the Australian Consulate in Dubai. Our consular officers do not give legal advice, but do assist Australians in trouble to obtain local legal advice.
As this matter is subject to ongoing legal proceedings, the Department is unable to respond to the questions raised in your letter or participate in the Sunday Night program. The Department will present its position as necessary during the course of the legal proceedings.
I agree. Let them live according to their customs in their land and let us have our culture here. Unfortunately the elites who govern us do not share this point of view.
I’ve lived in a mid size southern city for most of the last 40 years. When I arrived here to take my first job the county population was about 68% white, 30% black and 2% all other. Today the county is 58% white/non Hispanic, 12% Hispanic, 2% Asian, 27% Black, 1% other.
It was rare to see a Hispanic person before the mid 1990’s. Now the Hispanic community, primarily Mexican and Central American, is well established, fast growing and very visible. Over the last 3-4 years I’ve observed a rapid increase in the number of Muslims in the area. In my small community of 32 homes we have 2 houses occupied by Muslims. It is no long rare to see women wearing hijabs at restaurants, shopping centers, and other public places. A mosque and islamic center have been constructed in the past 5 years. The local county library is putting on Islamic themed programs, paid for by grants from the federal government, with the alleged purpose of promoting better understanding. Over the past year the local news media has suddenly become filled with stories about alleged discrimination against Islamic residents, demands for the school system to accommodate the special needs of Muslim children (i.e. more Muslim cultural and historical teaching), or the general intolerance of Christians for Muslims.
Where are these people coming from? What is their source of income? Why are they choosing to settle in the heartland? One of my Islamic neighbors, who has a large and very nice home, owns an oriental rug shop. However there are never any cars at his place of business and I do not know anyone who has purchased anything at his shop.
Just as there was a flood of immigration into this country from Mexico and Central America in the 1990’s and 2000’s it appears we are experiencing a flood of Muslim immigrants in this decade. Based on their behavior they have no intention of assimilating and their presence is encouraged by our government and institutions.
So our troops who go to muslim countries are to blame for what happens to them?
Our embassy workers are to blame?
So how long have you supported sharia?
But remember, the UAE is presented as ‘moderate’ and in fact, is touted to turn a ‘blind eye’ to the partying done by Christians. IMO, it’s like the spider and the fly.
>>>So our troops who go to muslim countries are to blame for what happens to them?

You are certainly trolling me turning everything upside down.
Why are you dragging troops and embassy into it?
What makes me a Sharia supporter?
You are claiming it just to make me look bad.
IMHO, Sharia is among the worst and most subhuman set of social rules ever and I made my position clear since the very beginning. That is exactly why I find a woman who willingly puts her into a Sharia environment as the one asking for worst trouble.
Are you the one who blame guns or tall buildings for suicides and claim suicidal maniacs a victims?
It is a pretty fair comparison following your own logic.
>>>But remember, the UAE is presented as moderate and in fact, is touted to turn a blind eye to the partying done by Christians. IMO, its like the spider and the fly.<<<
UAE is only pretends to be ‘moderate’ bacause it is good for business. Prada shoes and Benz won’t change a savage who lives by the same laws as their less advanced friends elsewhere.
Everyone who expects any civilized behavior from them, especially woman, is just plain naive or simply stupid.
Some of those countries have the appearance of being civilized, but they are really just savage subhumans with savagery written into law.
I’m disappointed with Australia on this... The basic facts should have brought on the wrath of the Australian government, not hiding behind diplomatic procedure.
This reminds me of a story that got a lot of play on talk radio a few years ago. It involved an American woman who was married to a Muslim from Saudi Arabia, and she was involved in a major legal/diplomatic battle after her husband left her, took their children, and moved back to Saudi Arabia.
Sean Hannity had her on his radio show as a guest, to explain her plight and tell his listeners the steps she was taking with the help of her Congressman to get the kids back. When he opened the phone lines to the callers, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. There wasn't a single caller who would sympathize with here. The typical response from a caller was some variation of the following: "What the hell did you get married to a Muslim from Saudi Arabia for in the first place, lady?"
Something about this story seems kind of strange. She was working for Starwood and was allegedly drugged — by three of her co-workers — in the employee lounge of the hotel where she worked. Why wasn’t Starwood involved in any of the legal aftermath of this?
Any civil dispute involving a crime like that has to be based on some ruling about a crime itself. Australian authorities has no criminal jurisdiction on UAE case so she has to bring UAE decision which is most likely says she was drank and had an orgy with three guys (wasn’t raped). She can sue Starwood from Australia if there is a branch but what are her chance?
Which part are you disagree with? All of the above is about dangers of Islam and stupidity of it’s sympathizers or other useful idiots who thinks it’s not hurt or funny.
Expecting savages to act like anything other than a savage defies logic.
I disagree with your assessment that the rape is somehow the woman’s fault. You need to keep in mind that not everyone reads FreeRepublic and not everyone is enlightened enough to recognize that the world is not the Kumbaya place the liberal indoctrination plan advertises.
Expecting savages to act like anything other than a savage defies logic.
“Why wasnt Starwood involved in any of the legal aftermath of this?”
I think that is her point. Starwood put her there and then apparently abandoned her when this occurred. Those decisions were probably made by local managers.
