Small town America is the soul of our country, despite the opinion of the Seattle Weekly’s Ellis Conklin and the lamestream media. Todd and I are on our way to congratulate the graduating class in Republic, Washington, this Saturday and I’m honored and touched by their ingenuity, tenacity, and invitation to speak to these young Americans about to begin their futures.

Small town America is our heart; it may not be the Ivy Leagues or what Ellis and the media deem acceptable, but these students and this town represent what is good and right about America and the small towns where most of us grew our own roots and values.

Too often the media forgets its own humble roots and plays the elitist card. Not so this weekend. We are going to congratulate the Tigers of 2013 and have something special for each and every one. They will grow to defend our country, manage our economy, build our families, and work to achieve each of their own personal dreams.

Sorry, Seattle Weekly, you, as usual, miss the point.

Something tells me this Ellis Whogivesarip has no clue that Palin grew up in a little town called Sandpoint, Idaho, in what was then a town of 4,500 people roughly 3-hours from this comparably sized town of Republic, Washington.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama went to speak at an urban magnet high school in Nashville, Tennessee. Michelle Obama attended a magnet high school in Chicago.

‘Tenacity’ is right Sarah!!! (The true story about just how this very small group of young people made this happen over the course of their senior year is an incredible story!) Congrats to them for sticking to it and also to Sarah and Todd for making these kid’s dream come true. The seattle weekly must be one of those ubiquitous leftist free tabloids that survive by accepting ads for topless bars and "escort services" (yea right). Is there anything being done about them? Boycott businesses that advertise? Boycott the businesses where they distribute them? They are 100% for the Dems. Does this support by a business constitute an illegal campaign contribution? What is to stop you from picking up a whole pile and recycling them? They are one of the ways the hard core leftists communicate with each other. They deserve more of our attention.

After reading this thread and several others today I had a simply “wicked” thought.

I think that Sarah ought to run for President if only to throw it in the faces of the press exactly HOW to vet a candidate when they give her an anal exam from hell. I think it should be brought up on EVERY Damn Nationally broadcast event she has.

And she should specifically Name names like Obama and Hillary and any one else the Press is giving a pass too.
