The NSA thing seems to have all of the legs for a summer long scandal.

1. The nation spying on everyone of us.
2. mysterious technology almost beyond our imagination.
3. A young attractive high school dropout/computer expert with a beautiful girlfriend, who risks it all to warn the people. And then runs for his life.
4. Possible foreign intrigue with China involved.
5. Hints by the leaker that he has only revealed the tip of the iceberg.
6. The whole political landscape roiled by the leak. Liberals and conservatives realigning alliances.

This story has all the making of a blockbuster series on television. A mystery thriller. It's just too pat. It's too juicy. All of the other scandals are boring.

I agree with everything you said, except that everything else is boring.

The power and might of the IRS was used to cow and suppress the perceived political enemies of the regime. Any dingbat liberal with two brain cells to rub together can figure out that when the Republicans are up to bat, they could do the same thing to them.

The DOJ's spying on the AP had to send a chill down the spines of every liberal, who quietly understand that the media is the de facto propaganda wing of the Democrat party.

A lot of libs have served in the military and other government services. How do you think they felt about our Ambassador and our military guys being left to die in Benghazi? I can guarantee you, that that incident jerked some of them back to reality.

And what about all of the sputtering and shirking of responsibility coming out of the White House recently? Obama hasn't even been able to blame George Bush or the Republicans during this onslaught of revelations. Do you not think that some libs are disillusioned and demoralized by their Deal Fuhrer's inability to "get to the bottom of this", or kick ass and take names on the guilty parties? Do you not think that a lot of them are sitting there stunned by the continuing deluge of scandal after scandal?

I think all of this is having a cumulative effect on not just us, but everyone in the country.
