Skip to comments.Sessions Chides Rubio: 'Marco, There's Somebody on the Television Pretending To Be You'

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) poked fun at the notion that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) could be publicly saying the Senate immigration bill needs stronger security provisions, while saying in TV ads that the bill has the best border security provisions in history. Sessions has previously called on Rubio and his ally Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to withdraw the advertisements because of their inaccuracies. Andrea Tantaros asked Sessions on her radio show to respond to reports that Rubio has not been seen with the Gang of Eight in public in over two months. Thats odd, Sessions said. He is the one thats in everybodys homes running the ads. Makes you want to say Marco, theres somebody on the television pretending to be you, saying vote for the bill that you recently said shouldnt pass in its current form.
Earlier in the interview, Tantaros said she thinks Rubios comments this weekend that 95 percent of the Gang of Eight bill is in perfect shape are not accurate.
I dont think 95 percent of it is perfect, Tantaros said. Im looking at some of things that it allows for. I mean, if you commit identity theft twice but not three times you can still get amnesty. If you break the law twice but not three times, you can stay in this country. Lets see, what else here. If you beat your wife twice but not three times you can still stay in this country. It doesnt seem very strict on criminals."

Clearly Rubio is conflicted and give his background it is easy to understand why. Still he is not handling it well.
He listened to those who were whispering in his ear. Unfortunately he didn’t notice that those whispering were the likes of Chuck Schumer, John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
Very simply explained by Chupacabra Rubio having a “English is my second language” moment
Oh that’s funny.
Lie down with Liberal Dogs . . .
Get up with Liberal fleas
I’m trying to keep my lunch down watching amendments being voted on..Rubio (&other RINOS) voted down the Thune & Vitter amendments.
Sessions is awesome. He saw first hand the vitriol of the democrats when they denied him a judgeship. Now he’s in the senate, and enjoyes sticking the shiv in.
One senator, two messages, depending on who he's talking to.
Those rascally Schumer Republicans. They are all dumber than a box of rocks. I guess that’s why they follow their Reichsfuhrer, Chuckie Schumer, everywhere like a bunch of puppies.
Ridicule is a potent weapon—Saul Alinsky says so.
What in his background makes him conflicted? I am genuinely curious...
Not handling it well? It’s called TRAITOR in ENGLISH!
I saw this coming from way back. Rubio sounds like a conservative, when talking to conservatives, but at the notoriously liberal/internationalist Brookings Institute, he bowed and swore loyalty to internationalism.
“I always start by reminding people that what happens all over the world is our business. Every aspect of our lives is directly impacted by global events.”
“In this new century, more than ever before, America should work with out capable allies in finding solutions to global problems... Our greatest successes have always occurred in partnership with other like-minded nations... So yes, global problems do require international coalitions.”
“For example, if China chooses to conform its rise within the international order, there is much to be hopeful for in the Pacific region.”
“...we must reject protectionism and instead embrace the ultimate goal of a free trade area of the Americas(1). The recently approved free trade agreements with Colombia and Panama was a good step. We need to move forward to bring both Canada and Mexico into the Trans-Pacific Partnership(2).”
Rubio is a neo-con. Always has been.
Rubio needs to go out and challenge Schmuckie to reach across the aisle to do Border Security for 5 years b4 amnesty.
“He listened to those who were whispering in his ear.”
Yeh whispering that he can ride this issue right into the Whitehouse in 2016. :-)
Marco who? Oh, that guy, the one who had me fooled not too long ago. He can go take a hike.
Good one, Sessions.
