Posted on 06/23/2013 3:22:46 PM PDT by Lazamataz
A large fleet container ship named the Mol Comfort was carrying weapons from the U.S. to the FSA Rebels in Syria when it suddenly split in half in the Indian Ocean and sank, as it was making its way from Singapore to Jeddah. On board were 4,500 containers loaded with U.S. arms for the Syrian rebels.
The cause for this sudden accident is still being reported publicly as unknown.
As more news becomes available from Syria, it will be reported here.
This vessel was loaded in Saudi Arabia and bound for Singapore when it split apart off Mumbai on Monday June 17. I highly doubt that there was any relation to Syrian rebels and / or the arms being shipped to them.
Now that all the Mediterranean lined Muslim nations have had their leadership changed to more fanatical religious Islamic zealots, it appears advanced logistics operations are underway to SE Asia to begin Islamic revolutions in their arena.
Dude. Reagan gave Sadam Hussein nerve gas and the mujahadeen stingers. This is how we do it. It’s all good business and good strategy. I’m not saying we should give them stingers and chemical weapons by the way but small arms with a limited useful service life are AOK IMO.
Likely extremely high waves that had a wavelength that exactly matched the length of the ship - the bow and stern got propped up by waves, with the center of the vessel out of the water, and it cracked.
This had been a common occurence of the coast of South Africa. Supertanker sized ships too large for the Suez Canal were broke in two by the “Cape Rollers”.
Yes... static noise is abundant on FR these days. There’s virtually no evidence of the ship’s container contents. None whatsoever. In other words, this thread is a yawner.
Highly unlikely as our POTUS would like nothing more than to arm AQ..err I mean the Syrian rebels...
“Remember the Maine”
Remember the Maine!
Thank you for dealing in fact.
It is amazing to me how many ships and containers are lost at sea each year. Though this is a significant event it seems not to be all that infrequent. Ships have rough lives and it is also surprising how relatively short their lives are.
I wonder where Israel’s subs are at this time. No need for a torpedo—a small charge at the keel-— or a special torpedo with a controled—small charge. Russia has such things. I hope no one lost their lives in the “Mishap”. I wonder if Putin is smiling now?
Having read the responses to the thread, I agree.
One thing about FR is that it is a Truth Crucible. Any topic will have experts reading it that will set the record straight.
But that doesn't mean we can't have a bit of fun in the meantime.
LOL...you do have your fun!
Thanks all. Unless there is contrary evidence, I believe this one can be laid to rest. Still, it was worth posting to find out.
This is from the GCaptain web site. It says the ship broke in two off Yemen.
There was one source quoted that it was headed back to north Korea after delivering missiles, artillery and personnel to Syria for the final battle against the great Satan. Lil Kim is reportedly in Saudi Arabia where he has just inked a deal for a dozen low yield nukes that nk wil deliver shortly. Thisexplains the sudden change in Iranian leadership, which was not a free election, just done to throw off the west as the clock strikes midnight. Tick tock the mous blew up the clock, Saud fell down and Jerusalem broke her crown, Russia went tick tick tock.
Your comportment as a gentleman is duly noted and sincerely appreciated.
....or that we would ship 4,500 containers of weapons
The ship belonged to Mitsui OSK Lines, a Japanese shipping outfit. Hence the MOL prefix.
Thanks. It appears that some of the cargo may be salvaged.
Now that’s a ‘boating accident’. I’ve had a few in the past where I’ve lost guns and ammunition, too.
That is freaking funny!
Thank you, good people, for helping to dilute the lethal amounts of tinfoil on this and other places.
Hey! There's no need to insult me like that!
it suddenly split in half in the Indian Ocean and sank, as it was making its way from Singapore to JeddahTop search hits for Obama are "incompetent" and "liar".
Its sort of interesting how you often get two different threads out of one thread.
Theres one smaller thread in this of people who have some idea of what theyre talking about, are providing actual information of value, who have done a bit of research on their own about the incident.
Then there is a larger thread of ranting idiots who just read the headline of the thread and keep posting feeble attempts at humor, blissfully oblivious to all the posts of the people on the other thread within this thread.
You forget the third thread within the thread and that is the conspiracy thread. Everything is right out of a Jason Bourne movie for these Machiavellian whizkids and they don’t find humor in anything!
Who knows what was in this containers on that ship. Rockets, gas, chemical, manpads... small arms, ok. we’ll never know until planes start falling and villages/towns get wiped out.
They’re might have been tactical nukes. We’ll never know now.
Not likely, the Israelis are supporting the same guys getting the arms.
Yehova is not presently in Israel’s corner militarily; its not time for that.
Cargolaw.com is also an excellent site for marine related accidents and the like. The photo’s they get from people on scene are amazing.
Update 3 says that tugboats have been dispatched from Jebel Ali (which is in UAE) to salvage the two still floating halves of the ship.
The US is advancing a split theater? By muslims and for muslims? I believe that is true, if only for a front. Yeah, I’m a crazy man.
Probably not,..but nevertheless,...SET CONDITION YOKE!
(Hey, dude, don’t go out that hatch,....no, I really mean it,...you really don’t want to go out that hatch!)
Good - damn good
No Zebra? Dang. Oh well. Hecky Durn.
Well, we might have to go slower, but, aye, Condition Zebra with even a dash of Condition circle Whiskey is warranted.
(I had forgotten,..had to look it up,..I noticed they don’t call it condition Circle Whiskey, but Circle Williams. Don’t tell me they got gay and changed the phonetic alphabet, removing Whiskey for Williams!)
Hmmm. Interesting stuff, Cvengr.
