IRS Sent $46 Million in Tax Refunds to 23,994 ‘Unauthorized’ Aliens — All at the SAME Address in Atlanta

The IRS sent more than $46 million in tax refunds to 23,994 “unauthorized” alien workers who all listed the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011, according to an audit report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

However, the Atlanta address that received millions of dollars in refunds was not the only address apparently housing thousands of “unauthorized” aliens. In fact, it wasn’t even the only address in Atlanta that was claiming such a situation.

The TIGTA audit report, published last year at the request of members of Congress, revealed 10 addresses in the U.S. that were issued anywhere from 1,846 to 23,994 tax refunds each. Four of those 10 addresses were located in Atlanta. ........

Most of the ‘funds’ confiscated from us clueless wage earners are in the pockets of the druggies.

Geeez!

The IRS printed 'em and the USPS delivered them.

5 Days a week, multiple times a day, it would seem.

If you’re a real person who cheats the IRS, you’re liable to get into big trouble.

But if you’re a fake person using a fake name and a fake SS number, then you’re home free—with OUR tax money.

Nice. Just an honest mistake, eh? What difference does it make? We’ve got to keep the drug cartels and the illegal alien vote moving along.

I would love to see the signatures on the back of all those checks.

Wonder how many are in the same handwriting.

Obama ordered his IRS to rig the election of 2012 for Obama and democrats/socialists in the Senate. Obama also used other gov agencies to rig the election. Why isn’t anyone shouting this form the rooftops? Come on Levin, coulter , Sarah Palin, Rush, DRudge etc. call Obama out on this and call for Obama’s resignation.

Obama’s IRS prevented many tea party groups from getting started The IRS stole the election. We no longer live in a free country

It was all earned income tax credit...

Oh, Georgia should check its records. Lots of EBT bennies are likely going to those same addresses. And Section 8 payments.

My second quarter 2013 estimated payment just cleared my bank account this morning.

So now my money is no doubt on its way to these poor (not)
undocumented immigrants.

The IRS cannot guarantee that your bank will honor your refund direct deposit unless both filers’ names are on the account.

Go to page 18 of the report. 24,564 direct deposits totalling $16,427,926 were made to 10 accounts. And those were only the “top ten.” How many tens of thousands of individual accounts got bogus refunds?

What I can’t understand is that, with the exception of a brief Washington Post article last week, I can’t find this story in ANY “mainstream” media outlet.

It is only being reported by the likes of the Blaze and CNS news, which the left typically dismiss as “right wing.”

I checked Snopes to see if the story had been “debunked” by the usual suspects, and was surprised to find a detailed analysis of it with the designation “TRUE.”

But still, no peep out of the rest of the media. The only reason I can surmise is that they don’t want to endanger the passage of this abominable immigration bill.
