Several students at George Mason University (GMU) signed a petition on Wednesday demanding lawmakers legalize “fourth trimester” abortions.
The petition, which was circulated on GMU’s flagship campus in Fairfax, VA., just outside Washington D.C., by Media Research Center reporter Dan Joseph said it was aimed at sending “a message to our lawmakers that women have the right to choose what to do with their bodies and babies” even “after their pregnancies.”
“If you don’t know what fourth trimester is, it’s after the baby is already born,” Joseph added in a video showing him collect the signatures.

“Currently fourth trimester abortions are illegal in all 50 states,” he told students before asking them to sign his petition.
Most student responses varied from “okay” to “cool.”
One concerned student asked if the procedure would “cause harm to the child.”
“Well the child wouldn’t be there anymore,” responded Joseph. “It’s abortion.”
That student then signed the petition.
Joseph said that after one hour he was able to garner fourteen signatures.
“That is a lot for the summer because there aren’t as many people on campus,” he said in the video.
Let the ungodly abort themselves into extinction.

Amazing how the choice of words can confuse some mental midgets.
“Fourth trimester abortion” is a deliberate attempt to hide the reality, and some people with their heads up their a$$ fall for it.
Pregnancy is 3 trimesters, not 4. It’s like saying the eighth day of the week. You can put the words together, and some a$$holes think you are describing a new reality.
Not surprising, tho. “Social Security” fooled a lot of people. “Affirmative action” fooled as many. “Patient protection and affordable care act”

Hence “trimester”. If there were four time divisions, they’d be “tetramesters”, and college students are supposed to know stuff like this.
I think that there are people who will sign any petition you give them, and you will find these people on college campuses. I remember that Penn and Teller got signatures on a petition to outlaw Dihydrogen Monoxide by informing potential signers that the military made great use of it
