On his Friday radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh dissected Thursday’s revelations about last September’s Benghazi scandal aired on Jake Tapper’s CNN program, saying that Republicans “Waiting for CNN to do this isn’t going to cut it.”

According to the report, there were dozens of CIA operatives on the ground at the time terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate that resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Limbaugh said there was something more here: that the Obama administration was going around the law, and House Republicans, particularly House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, should be doing more to draw attention to the Benghazi details.

It is kind of time the taxpayers got their money's worth out of the House Oversight Committee.

If CNN can pull off what they did and they didn't have subpoena power, then what is holding up Darrell Issa?

Careful: We’ll wind up outsourcing intelligence fact gathering to CNN. Heaven help us ‘cuz Hillary and Barry didn’t.

You might mean WHO is holding up Issa, not what.

Boehner doesn’t want to “go there”?

McCain and Grahmnesty in this up to their eyeballs?

IOW, ask yourself who besides the regime knew about this and were ok with it? Or just simply lack the guts to go against the regime and conduct a legit, public investigation?

I submit to you, it’s certain politicos who outrank Issa...

Rep. Frank Wolf of VA has been trying to get a special, select committee put in place to investigate this. He has been stonewalled by the powers that be.

mulling over a purely hypothetical scenario...how different will the country suddenly become if John Boehner were to go out and get hit by a bus tomorrow morning?

Hard to imagine ANY other Speaker being less aggressive on this stuff.

I think I vaguely remember Glenn Beck talking about this months ago on his radio show. I may be mistaken.

The fact that John Boehner is still Speaker tells you everything you need to know about the Republican Party.

Listened to this on and off earlier today.

Was waiting for Rush to call-out the House Republicans and remind them of their Constitutional responsibility to serve as a check a runaway Executive, but he didn’t.

Very frustrating.

Obama’s and Carney’s “phony scandals” comment is going to comeback to haunt them.

Well lets take a look. Congress is going to be out of DC for a month, no potential for hearings, so why show your hand to the administration? As we know, the public has a very limited attention span, I suspect it is going to get very hot in DC leading into the fall and winter preparing for the mid term elections. Everything in DC is a chess game and I think they have the goods on Benghazi.

Glenn Beck did make his suspicions audible back after the Benghazi attack happened. As I recall, he admitted he had no proof, but with all the facts that were available, he came to the conclusion of possible gun-running.

Commie Obamaphile Network will never say anything against this regime... for 8 years they did what Saddam Hussein told them to in Iraq; their game has not changed one bit.

Thanks for the clarification. Hard to believe that if he knew it, members of congress didn’t.
