Jerk of the Week - Matt Damon
RightWingPatriot.com ^ | August 9, 2013 | RightWingPatriot

As is the usual case, there were a number of unworthy contestants for our Jerk of the Week honors. From Obama and his demonstrated weakness to Congress getting Obamacare waivers to property management companies trying to banish the Second Amendment (which has failed), there were quite a few who could have been chose. However, our choice this week truly represents the utter hypocrisy of the progressive liberal. Therefore our Jerk of the Week is Matt Damon.

Matt Damon has long been a progressive liberal moonbat, believing that America is a terrible place. He loves the work of noted anti-American author Howard Zinn. It's hard to blame him totally for his views as he was raised in Massachusetts (must be something in the water) by a mother who is far-far-far-left. But there comes a time when a person has to finally grow up and view the world as an adult and begin to think for themselves. Matt Damon has not reached that point and probably never will. Like all progressive liberals, he preaches one thing and practices another.

Case in point: public education. Damon is a huge proponent of public indoctrination...I mean, education...for the masses. He bleats about this topic a great deal and gave a speech at the Save Our Schools rally in Washington, D.C, in 2011. He praises his socialist mother who has been a teacher for many years. Yet for all his extolling of the virtues of the public school system, Matt Damon had made the decision to send his kids to private school.

Personally, I don't care where Damon sends his kids to school. It's his money and his right to decide how his kids are educated. What does upset me is that he does not allow us normal people the same liberties that he enjoys. School vouchers giving choices is bad in his eyes. Forcing your kid to a government-run school where teachers unions rule with an iron fist is good. Yet when it comes to his family, suddenly that same reasoning is no longer valid. This just shows the typical "do as I say, not as I do" mentality of progressive liberals. THEY have choices while WE have none. THEY espouse a lifestyle that WE find extremely uncomfortable and irritating, but they don't live that lifestyle themselves.

For his hypocrisy, Matt Damon takes our Jerk of the Week honors. I'm still laughing over his comment on why he chose a private school over a public one. He actually said, “I mean, I pay for a private education and I’m trying to get the one that most matches the public education that I had, but that kind of progressive education no longer exists in the public system. It’s unfair." Wow! Public education not progressive enough? Our public education system has been destroyed by progressives and their four decades of ramming their indoctrination down our kids' throats.

Topical case in point: the San Diego county school board which will host a Trayvonathon for returning pupils, even providing students with the conclusions they should draw from this exercise in ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stoopid-er”.

I’ll never understand why these actors alienate half of their audience. The same applies to businesses as well.

Matt Damon may have won “jerk of the week”, but surely he has won the Oscar for being an “Eternal Airhead” several times over.

He’s just trying to get publicity for what probably will be the next Hollywood movie to flop.

See if you can get it for free or on a cable service you’re already paying for. It’s a great movie and I’m only sorry that Damon has run off the rails since then.

I’m trying to get the one that most matches the public education that I had, but that kind of progressive education no longer exists in the public system. It’s unfair.

Libtards believe that knowledge is socially constructed, and therefore the narrative is all.

Postmodernist libtard education teaches:

1) anti-objective truth - the denial of universal objective truth, there are only truths localized to a particular culture, society, group or individual
2) anti-metanarrative - There are no stories that explains the world. There are only local stories told by various cultures
3) anti-realism - People construct reality according to their culture, society, and experiences
4) platonic-heraclitean flux theory of reality, anti-realism, and primacy of consciousness - reality is indeterminate and can be constructed to gain values
5) dishonesty - the construction of fictional reality for the purpose of gaining undeserved and unearned values.
6) anti-correspondence theory of truth - there is no correspondence of truth to reality

When libtards are indoctrinated with this propaganda, they have no problem ignoring the truth and telling stories that deceive to try to get what they want.

Talk about jerks. I wonder who wrote GOOD WILL HUNTING and how much they screwed him. I know the script they presented to Castle Rock was not the one they made into a movie.

Actors and Actress live in a pretend world so they have no understanding of the real world so most of their thinking come from that pretend world.

Amen. There's a quote attributed to Michael Jordan that comes to mind: "Republicans buy shoes too."
